Yes, the FSA or FCA as it is now, came through in this case (it took about six months for me to receive). Now, I would never consider depositing money with a non-FCA regulated broker, nor with one outside the UK.
I tell you all what, Alpair isn't playing a fair game here for their IB's.

I had several Brokers to choose from who hadn't been around as long as Alpari, but figured it would be the safest bet.

I spoke to online chat supporting asking them before hand, when I sign up as an IB and created a PAMM and invite people via my IB link, will I get paid on those I invite who join my PAMM. They said Yes. I even asked again to clarify and I got the same answer.

So, comes pay day, only $951, not a lot but its a lot to some people. And just in two weeks for next months commission from the IB is almost double that now.

Come pay day, my IB account shows the amount earned, then the next day it was removed from my balance. I figured it had been placed into my transitory account. But it wasn't.. After about 6 emails with these people (they never give you the answer you are looking for, wasting more time), and finally I got a response saying they do not pay commissions to IB clients who refer others to their own PAMM account.

WHAT!!!!!!

WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE IF IM THE PAMM MANAGER OR SOMEONE ELSE IS.

They specifically said that if IB's invite clients to INVEST into a PAMM, the IB client gets paid. Says so on their site.

Now they wont pay up...


That's the most unethical thing to do...

But I tell you this, if they dont pay up. I'll be closing down my PAMM and telling my clients to go else where and not to trade there again - and I have a large following too.

Hello. It is specifically stated that IB's do not receive IB comission from clients, brought to the partner's own PAMM, pecause this partner already earns money from his or her PAMM manager's comission:

well, your site says i get paid.
And your staff confirmed twice.

Your logic is messed up... The money i make my clients, im entitled to get a commission from them - even if i was trading a standard ecn account and where each month they give me com's...

This is how it works...

As an ib, i work for you to bring in new clients, and new funds. And you pay me for the work i did. Correct?

For me to take on a client outside of pamms, etc, i work for them, and they pay me.

They are completely two different models!

i'm making you money by bringing in clients and you're not paying! its that simple, even when your site says that i get paid on pamms.

I mean, your percentages are one of the worst in the industry, and you're ripping me off even more.

So pay up please... And put your logic of payments into reality here!

Please specify where exactly have you found information about IB comission payments on the PAMM account of the very same IB partner on our website (also we need your myAlpari ID and the precise time when you contacted our IB department to look further into your case). Take notice, that our PAMM partnership programs ( http://alpari.com/en/investor/partne...sition_partner) are separated from the IB program.

It's not like im trading my own funds. I'm trading other people's funds. I'd understand that one cant get paid trading their own money -- I wouldn't allow that either.

BUT WHEN I INVITE PEOPLE TO TRADE THEIR MONEY, I EXPECT TO GET PAID BY THE BROKER FOR PUTTING MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF VOLUME THROUGH YOUR SYSTEM THAT YOU GET PAID ON, PLAIN AND SIMPLE!

WHEN YOU GET PAID FROM THE BANKS, YOU PAY 25% OF THAT TO THE IB'S WHEN THEY TRADE OTHER PEOPLES MONEY!

What is my business, is my business, if I use your platform to build my business, I have the right to charge my clients for what ever money i make them without you having a say so how much I can charge...

you cant chime in and say, "oh because you get paid from your clients a commission we dont have to pay you". WHAT? What kind of messed up logic is that?

The compensation that partners can earn for bringing in clients who either invest in, or open a PAMM Account depends upon the type of PAMM Account and the share of the client's funds in the account. Calculations for investors in the PAMM service are based on the amount they invest, and calculations for managers are based on the amount of the manager's capital.
For Standard accounts, the partner earns 25% of the spread on trades made by the clients they introduce. For ECN accounts the partner takes 30% of the commission on trades made by the clients they introduce.
For example, the IB attracts Investor 2. For standard accounts, he receives 25% of the spread on trades which are made using the funds invested by the clients which he attracts, and for ECN accounts – 30% of the commission.

Please specify your myAlpari ID so that we would be able to check if our staff member has given you incorrect information. All IB partners are expected to closely study all regulatory documents. Rules on IB compensation on his/her own PAMM account are explicitly stated in close 6.7 of our Introducing Broker Regulation:

IM NOT TRADING MY FUNDS THOUGH... do you understand what i am saying... my IB backoffice represents my referrals... IB coms are being made from these people... if its being recorded, then I should be paid.

you cant just come out with a rule cos i charge my clients commission, doesnt mean you cant pay me, cos either way, im making you guys money from the volume im putting through your system and its millions worth going trough every day!

any way, end of the day, if you dont pay me... i'll be telling my list of 354,000 people not to trade with you guys and my 3000+ trading affiliates not to use you as an IB cos you rip them off.

And I will pull the funds out of the pamm and tell my clients to close out their investment accounts and we'll go with someone I know who treats us better. cos its obvious you lot dont care... which is the typical Russian attitude (its your way or no way regardless if you're stealing from others hard work to make you money)

End of the day, its your loss once i leave (IF YOU DONT FIX THIS)... I've got more investors coming in, but ive told them to hold off until they wire $100-200K to alpari.

This logic is applied to the IB program due to the very nature of PAMM accounts - PAMM manager already receives compensation if he manages investors' funds successfully. As we've pointed earlier - there is a special close in our IB regulation which covers this topic and there are no exclusions to this rule.

Any way, you messed with the wrong person. I've just instructed my 114 pamm clients who I referred to close out their accounts... we're going with HotForex instead, since they play ball properly, and they know what they are doing. unlike you lot. So you have missed out on a $500k account being traded... laters you loser!

If I had a dollar every time somebody claims he has hundreds of pamm clients/referrals with huge sums....
And if you're such a great IB, how, for God's sake, did you miss that clause in the IB terms? I mean, these conditions are far from perfect, but you need to do your homework.

Man, grow one... just because you dont have a following. Doesn't mean no one else has. I have just under 500 referrals at HotForex... Over 1000 at FXOpen... Over 300 at FXPro...

And just as my suspicion says about you, you dont read well... so its probably a no brainer why you cant achieve the same results.

Woah, calm down a bit, would you? I really don't care about your following, but every IB tells same stories about their greatness and how they have the whole population of Earth as referrals with several brokers at once. If your claims are at least partially justified - I couldn't be more happy for you. And I'm not assuming anything, I want to emphasize that reading actual terms is really important in dealing with, well, everything, not just in this forex industry.
