I wouldn't use MT4 Remote it is highly unsecure.

As I said there is a new MT4 App that supports all brokers, also Alpari, the App is quite new.

I'm using it with my MT5 ECN Account. It is working well, the UX (Userer Experience) is note really good, but it is still under development.

Did anyone else noticed any thing strange happened on Alpari mt4 account this morning? 3 of my positions disappeared 5 micro lots each on GBP/USD & EUR/USD. In place of them I found 2 positions I never opened, 1 micro lot each. The platform and my indicators too were all looking different all of a sudden, with the platform looking as if there is a gap in price. To cap it all, there is no live chat to speak to anyone or ask questions.

I had to go back to check my daily statement in my e-mail address to be sure I am not dreaming. Still in shock still. Definitely moving my peanut account come daybreak.

I've just opened a demo micro accont.

I'd like to know why I dont have the full 34 pairs + metals. I have only around 20 pairs + NQ100.

Can anyone help me...I went to log into my AlpariUK account and it said the MT4 platform I was using was out of date. It will not let me trade now.

The message:

connect failed: [old version]
LiveUpdated started because new version is out of date.

How is this corrected??

Also, I noticed another poster commented on how some of her trades disappeared...the same thing happened to me.

Very disappointed with Alpari lately.

I find most of the time Alpari ECN (excludse commission) is even more expansive than Oanda and MB Trading-Free EXN (include commissions), let alone adding commission.

Most of the time EURUSD fluctuate between 0.8 - 1.4pips. +0.6 commission would be 1.4 - 2.0pips.

It is really ECN? How come so expansive?

Yes, that is not very competitive, Pepperstone too are much cheaper than this, their spread is around 0.4 and commission is about 0.7 for eurusd.
