This is getting to be a little one sided trade. Only going down with shallow retracements.

what u all getting excited about its drop. Its only just beat fridays low and taken all fridays stop loss clusters out. Dont just look left, look above what juice there is.Yes they may drop some more for induction purposes but this bleeder IMO has more room up medium term cos too many winning shorts

What we have been getting intraday is one bulls achievement you mention, then drop back down to support with shallow retracements as fafnir says, then the new ride down.

Right now I see Fridays last bull move like that one achievement, then the drop back to support, stall, bear growling time

My most important resistance now is 1270s and I already sold the stall. Sold around here also 1257 with the 1st countertrend volatility failure, BE when/if low is hit. Closed early if another 15m closes over it. Reentering after return from 70s as long 78 not closed over by 15m before.

Let see !

Test the water buy trade opened, s/loss 50 pips. Usdx is almost at my 50% fib retrace at 96.47 Swing high March 2020 to Jan 2021. I will lock in as soon as I can with the current downward momentum.

I also find what you say very important.

As a young lad, I started out trend trading on the 5min alone, glancing at the 15m for stops and TPs, never higher TF. Getting acquainted to higher TFs opened me up to lot about opportunities born from my intraday trades. I never looked back.

Giving the averaged, lightly rising support levels, and the lately (5-6 years)ranging nature of the Monthly, I wouldn't be surprised to see a return to 1.15 - 1.16s, and I even have another crazy plan to trade the return to the tops of the range our beloved 1.2x I take weekly even more seriously, but that would make this post double the size

But for now, let's see how deep this rabbit hole really is Maybe 3rd times the charm ? Talking about 1.12s bears attacks in this never-ending 7 year correction of monthly uptrend. A downtrend could really be in the works. Doubt it, but planning it with as much effort nonetheless.

That was fast, and first lost of the week and, as always, happy to take it, no matter the size ! -2 . waiting to see if reentry time is ripe, UPDATE : it is, sellstop 1257, wont be able to update it though. Quick exit if it doesnt have the good dance moves fast enough that is for sure ! Starting a ranging vibe if it gets back above 75. For me, it would mean break resistance, and I would wait for min 1290s, then look first for reentries starting at 1275. No more selling above 1275 for me ! This Fridays move was a simple 1H impulsive BO and no follow through = not serious till properly broken and followed through. It keeps getting back up into Fridays week lows before the end of the hour is good for bulls. Closes within the 1H wick mean nothing to me...
If I don't mention SL and TP = longer-term setup possibly in the works!
Good luck all. Im gonna ride through with my current trades and stacks still preferably towards south (fingers crossed). Hope the diver will take me there lol.
