Hi traders, i must say i am finding it pleasant to share ideals and views with people who believe in what i believe and i equally understand our differences and that is our different ways of relating and interpreting the chart.
The forum is full of beginners, old time traders, so called pros and so called amateur, but at the end we all are here for one purpose to learn from each other and to help each other to make profit from the up and down movement of the market.
To give a little in-site on how i understand the market we trade works, the currency market is a more of technical program with a little of market news influence, what am i try to say? The market is a well technical computer program which revolves in a well programmed pattern that why when you read your chart well you could be able to know what will happen before it happened.
EURUSD is in a bearish pattern which is not yest completed, like i said before 1.11 to 1.10 or even 1.09 these levels will surely make the end of the bearish move and this is how i am expecting it to play out.
EURUSD will finish this month as a sell trade given us an up pin bar or 100% Doji showing change is under way, next month I expect EURUSD to get bullish momentum on the day of Non Farm payroll which will be on the 7th next month this momentum will continue to meetup with ECB meeting on 13 Dec and the bullish energy will be more stronger until 19 Dec when the Fed will meet for the next interest rate which is highly likely will happen and if that comes into effect that will be a bomb on EUR to continue going down and finish bearish for the year that means if that happens we will be getting two pin bars.
What i am saying is that if you are analyzing the market based on small time view you will all ways get a buy buy signals which will not hold on the long run they will surely fail not because they are wrong signal but because they are for short time correction move which is always part of the market.
My advice is this, do not hold buy more than 50 pips plus the market could give a buy signal tomorrow or early on Tuesday maybe around 1.1287 to puss back up to 1.13.

The mkt is a colossal beast ,, it dont move as fast as one logically thinks ,, one must decide what is more profitable for them then trade the appropriate time frame ,, your 4 hour chart averaged 16 pips a day from weekly open to weekly close ,, when one looks at levels the mkt actually uses and trades accordingly day by day rolling with the mkt well its easy to see where more money is available. Then if one understands the smaller time frames are just setups for the one or 2 days a week larger moves then things make more sense and one figures the limitations of the moves and trades between the levels accordingly ,, catching even half of a days range each day will pay way better than sitting around waiting on a four hour chart . The important levels dont change because of time frame being used . One must decide if they want to ave the same as the mkt ,the 8 to 11 or maybe a couple more pips a day over time in a trending direction or roll up their sleeves and do a little a work and beat the mkt by twice or more a day its available ,,either way it isint easy ,, but if Im going to work at I want more than 10 15 pips a day . Thats just me ,, each one must decide for themselves . but the time frame means nothing as to the levels that are being traded ,, all a time frame does is give you more trades between the levels being traded ,, the mkt is not going to move any faster or any slower because of a time frame

so when trading on lower time frame what would your risk to reward ratio be if only aiming for a few pips?

I trade mainly the M5, risking 3 to 7 pips per trade for 5 to 10 pips TP. But once or twice a day (about an hour odd into London, then NY reversal) I get caught in a breakout and these can yield 30 odd pips and more. So not too bad a R:R ratio IMO

Anyway, looks like a very small (if you would even consider it one) gap up. I'll start with a small sell limit at 1.1350. TP (and flip to a long) at 1.1321.

a Global war didn't start when Kim's missiles were flying over Japan , not so likely it could start over Crimea which is an old affair

With the list of daily givens one does know about the mkt ,, the about how far it will move ,, the when it will happen and the when it will slow down it becomes about where price is relative to the support levels and the price patterns that are developing in real time . The daily open is the 1st line in the sand each day ,, is it trading above or below it ,, any patterns visible ,, any projections . My self A hard stop below or above the sup or res levels and a mental much tighter based on what a pattern is displaying . One can trade up to res, or one can sit and sell a few at res waiting for the bigger bear flag to kick in ,, trade up from support knowing when price gets to the shoulder level its probably going to getwhacked ,, opposite for an inverted pattern ,, just comes down to which way the mkt is moving at the time and knowing the level where you better get your stp tightened or take your profit . As far as the level being sold ,, a 20 pip stop would have been enough ,, a longer chart you would have seen your profit shrinking each day ,,reckon very few retailers would have held out for 2 and half days as their profit got less each day but the patterns and the level pointed the way ,,shame to waste the pips that where to be had going back up to res ,, each there own but one has to seek out the levels the mkt actually uses and not shit calculated out of the air or what look goods . The mkt gives you the levels ,,then its just a matter of rolling with it as the patterns come to fruition and knowing close to what you got to work with between the levels. In short ,, zig and zag with the mkt instead of against it Finding the levels along with a few price patterns and the little list of daily givens helps one roll with it as far as risk reward its all relative to where its at between the res and sup levels and what price pattern is playing out for the day and what time of day it is From last weeks high or 2 weeks ago now was just a two and half day bear flag with h&S patterns for 2 days at that weekly high ,, one really doesent have to wonder what was going to happen the mkt was pointing it out

The population in Russia as of 2018 is 143,936,687. As for Ukraine being at war with Russia, that is a guaranteed loss for Ukraine. Also Russia will take over some of baltic countries most likely: Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. When? Not sure, but they will.

Tensions are brewed because of no actions were taken toward DICKtators like Kim, Putin and Co. When they feel a solid fist in their butts, all tensions miraculously disappear. Obama's and Merkel's "peace" policies have completely failed.

Please, don't take my thoughts as a trading advice. When I write "EU negative", it doesn't imply immediate action. Some bounces/pull backs possible. Better to wait how things unfold tomorrow. But I admire your brave action. Can't say it about myself. Be wise and green pips to you!
