Yes, I know that. Even if I use installer, MQL4, profiles and templates are located in a seperate folder under AppData. As far as I know, that's because MS Windows' policy. (It doesn't happen in Mac using Wine... holy crap Windows!)

No, I don't think so. I just used normal options when I installed.... Strange thing is everythings (EA, scripts,...) work just fine EXCEPT this feature.

yes, it changed some years ago when windows changed. i dont know if its not possible any more or is only more easy to program so, but at least metatrader changed some years ago from having all in one folder to this splitted folder way.

try deleting all this new copied folders. app data folder are not important to delete, they will be ignored , only when you need to save this space and have already copied many MB or GB inside, i would delete it.
try installing with 1 installer and test if all is ok. if not we can search for an other reason step by step.

Never mind, I don't use MT4 as an execution platform anymore. I found it today (I remember it worked the other day but not sure. It's nearly impossible that I didn't know that for 2-3 years. I suspect recent MT4 update) and was just curious why....

No, I don't make such basic mistakes...
I use JForex as an execution platform for Forex.

ok. i did make any slip (oversight mistake - hope its right word used )possible in my trading time over now 20 years, often when needs to be fast or when doing other things same time.
from doing opposite trade to what i want open, using wrong lot sizes, klicking wrong currency, logged in wrong account, traded in wrong account, traded wrong product class, changed SL from wrong currency because prices lookes similar,........ you cant imagine whats all possible sometimes. at least i did see it all the time fast and corrected it so fast. some was angry , some so stupid i needed to laugh about what happened.

So if you could kindly see the video and tell to what needs to be done to create a script to start with that would really help.

Why do you want to keep changing Templates?

Much easier to change the Symbol on the chart, then move to the next chart with another indicator, run through all the pairs and so on.

Just my way of doing it maybe.
