This seems like an interesting way to make some money if you can determine in which direction the market is moving in the next 30 minutes or so.

Thanks in advance for responding.

i agree this is a viable money maker. we need to come together to form a system. i was proposing a system prior to non farms of getting ready to place a buy and sell option since it pauses price for 2 minutes you could wait to see which direction price moved and use the appropriate option. but the problem with that is like you say we can only speculate on the upcoming 30 minutes or greater.

LOL. I assure you it is not a moneymaker. Their spreads are horrific, and they have strict timing rules on placing bets, which ensures the odds are very heavily in their favor. Trading there has many more restrictions than a retail broker. They are basically scamsters, profiting off of every client.

I have had an account with them for more than a year, and I quickly decided to leave.

Silverpike,
are you still spread betting and can you recommend a broker that would do business with US citizens.

Thanks - Frank

where can someone get options and spread bet? that would be a good discussion. if we could find a viable way to hedge ourselves while in a trade.

I know a few people who used to make quite a bit of money using BOM. When they changed the rules it became near impossible to pull a profit so everyone quit using it.

Yes I am one of them. When people win too much they change the rules...its like a casino.
