Simple way of exporting MT4 data from Data Window into Excel?

Hi guys, I have searched on here exhaustively and cannot find a simple way of exporting live data into Excel.

And it isn't price data I want exported either - it is specific indicator data from the Data Window, e.g. data from a Stochastic.

Is this possible and is there a simple way of achieving it? So many threads on this are either out of date now or just seem too complex for my feeble brain.

Not simple but possible. See http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...61309&page=123 for an idea. You must use an Indi to export a csv and then import the information in excel with vba. The basic tools are in the thread but you will need to modify them to your needs. This is the only way I know to get historical data into excel in a automated fashion. You can even reverse the process to execute and manage trades. Welcome to the rabbit hole. If this is not comfortable to you it may be better to invest your time into learning to accomplish these thing in MT4.
