Survey of about 100 businesses which asks respondents to rate the relative level of general business conditions, such as sales growth, investment in machinery, employment, inflation expectations, and credit conditions

I personally find it funny that BOC can make any decision based on 100 business survey....Could be a mover

Tues
USD PPI m/m projection is slight red and if so expect USD to lose to majors specially EU and GU.Keep in mind where this happens in relation to pivots
Should UJ drop to 650 I may start buying it.

Weds
RBA Gov Lowe Speaks
He could be singing praises of economy and move AUD AN has lot of room north (still holding longs here)

GBP Manufacturing Production m/m
Red here would be nice after spike on last Friday...corrections could start on all G pairs

A Strong Euro Is A Headache For The ECB

In recent weeks, the euro has been at its highest level, relative to the US dollar, that we've seen in the last three years. This is a movement that surprises when the European Central Bank is carrying out the most aggressive monetary expansion in the world after the Bank of Japan.
A strong euro is not a problem for any European citizen. European households keep a large part of their financial wealth in deposits. Additionally, a strong euro curbs inflation in imported products, mainly energy and food, generating a significant wealth effect.
If we look at the commodity index between January 6, 2017, and January 12, 2018, we can see that it has fallen by more than 12% in euros, while it is slightly up in US dollars. For the average European citizen, a stable or strong euro is a blessing and one of the essential factors for the recovery of household disposable income.
A strong euro has not been a problem either for exports. Spain, for example, has increased by 53% the weight of exports in GDP in the last five years, and Eurozone exports in 2017 marked a record, growing more than the average of global trade and with a record trade surplus, which is one of the decisive factors explaining the euro strength.
But a strong euro is bad news for central planners, indebted states and obsolete or low value-added sectors that need the hidden subsidy of devaluation. A strong euro destroys the ECB expectations of inflation, the increase in estimated profits of the low productivity sectors, and puts in danger the debt reduction of inefficient states, which have been unable to reduce their deficits quickly enough. The ECB's monetary policy, which becomes an assault on the savers and efficient sectors to subsidize the inefficient and indebted, does not work in a globalized world with open economies. And, ironically, that is good for European families, who see their wealth in deposits strengthen and stable disposable income because inflation is low.
Although the European Central Bank maintains ultra-low rates and monthly repurchases of 30,000 million euros, it is unable to devalue as it would like.

Thank you so much for all these, both indies and knowledge, I'm new to this thread btw, is it safe to say that my RR ratio is always bigger on the risk? Since that we have to give some more extra room for the stop losses.

Davit, here is a question that may come up that you might want to put on page 1. You state that traders should not trade pairs with more than an 120 pip ADR with this method. How many days is the ADR over? I am guessing 20, but I want to make sure.

20days is more accurate.I only recently started trading GA and to me GA GC are ok to trade if you have solid years of forex experience if not best not trading because either your DD would be great or losses great.
You have to be honest with yourself with your experience level.I am not yet trading GJ because I don't think I am ready for this beast.

I can't seem to find out what time XI is speaking anywhere. Do you know what time he is due to speak? I just want to be "ready" for any volatility that may/may not come along with it. Txs

You would not have a problem with GJ. Not that I am inside your head or anything, but I know how you trade. You will make the right decisions.

Edit: Take a look around the forums some time. A lot of people have quietly incorporated your methods into their systems. Dragon is no different than any other pair, just the swings are more violent. Your modesty is refreshing.

All limitations are in our brain. You will be afraid of the beast and will not defeat her.

I opened the first real trading account many years ago and I wanted to scalp. I had my own strategy that earned a good demo. This trading account did not last even one day. Of course, I thought it was not my fault but the broker. I quickly opened a new trading account. I have refined the strategies. Everything went well for a few weeks. Then I will come up with a great idea to trade news. In a few minutes 4k dollar disappeared. It was big zero. I thought Ok, no problem and I opened a 3 trading account. Then something happened that I did not understand. I had a system that earned good money for a few weeks. They were signaled and I could not make a decision. Complete decision paralizing. It lasted several months before I defeated the beasts. All limitations are in our psyche

Many new traders who want to earn on forex seeing the profits of others who show that they earn 200, 300, 500 pips. They are trying to imitate them. Everyone wants to earn 1000 pips a day. But this business is not like that. Trzueba adjust your daily goal to knowledge and possibilities. If you can earn, for example, 30 pips a day and be at a 3% risk. Not bad. You will earn $ 90 on the first day. You will earn more on the second day and more on the third. You do not need 1000 pips a day. You need a steady stable capital increase.


Plan your day. Plan your profit. Do not sit for hours before MT4. Earn money and give your friends and family time because what is the most precious is not money but time that we can dedicate to those we love. You can buy almost anything for money, but you do not buy time

Ones to watch this week,

1) Boao Forum
Asia's answer to Davos starts Monday and Chinese President Xi Jinping gives the keynote address on Tuesday.

2) IMF world economic outlook
This release always seems to catch market participants off guard. It includes a forecast for global economic growth and individual forecasts for the major economies. It's due Monday at 1400 GMT. The February forecast for global growth was 3.9% for 2018 and 2019.

3) US CPI and FOMC minutes
The US economic calendar is light this week but the main highlights are on Wednesday with PCI and the FOMC minutes. Year-over-year CPI is expected up 2.3% and 2.0% on the core. The minutes are for the March 21 decision when Powell raised rates in his first meeting as leader.

4) German CPI
France reports Thursday with Germany and Spain on Friday. The ECB wants to see prices moving in the right direction. Speeches from Coeure and Weidmann on Thursday will also be watched closely as well as the ECB's annual report with Constancio on Monday.

5) Summit of the America
Trump heads to Lima and Bogota in a Summit that will start Friday and last three days. Several reports say he wants to announce a NAFTA deal in principle on this trip.

A V/G tradin_buddy married with 2 kids died Last wk in a car crash , i happen 2 know that he had abt 420K usd in his acct . but
his wife who had NO interest in his tradin did Not know till i told her - she dont even know his PW from this acct.

Now she has to take an Xpensive lawyer to get[try] her $$$ out from this fukkin dealer aka broker , funds that she + her kids Very much need !

I learned sumetin from this tooo , Now i make my Wife hav interest in my tradin + she knows d PW soo that she can close d acct if [when] need be .

and NOT to waist $$$ on an Xpensive lawyer !

I wanted to add to wise words above.

One may try to "forget" about money matter and focus on performing the process of growing and managing positions acc. to Davit's approach and then taking off accumulated pips.

Money, as the by-product, will follow, quite happy and fast.

If you manage that, you are in for a nice surprise.

This business jersey you can never forget about degradation. Profit or loss. No pivot is the boss who decides. Only price. The price coincides with the pivot. look at this. The cat is the chief pivot or Price?

not sure how you make your wife have interest in your trading, doesn't work for me but she has the password and I also have life insurance.

May reach R100 as well. Confluence of R100, 1.4200 or even 1.42193 - SD level, 223.6% fib

Personally I prefer to sit in the background and watch what is happening unless I feel I have something important to post and I believe this post is.
There appear to be quite a few posts that have a "link" to what could be deemed by FF as commercial content and this could mean that this thread is changed to Commercial.
Now, I certainly don't want to see Davit's hard work & teachings affected that way so I suggest that everyone refrains from a "Commercial" link in their posts.
Davit please feel free to dislike this if you feel it is unimportant.
