@shay14: The pivots gets refreshed every week. I have never backtested it, but shouldn't be a problem. Just give it a try

sure mate. Here is another example: divergence, bearish pinbar, pivots. There was good divergence building on EU, plus the rejection at R100 and the bearish pinbar just made the trade more clearer.

It cannot get simpler than this. There are hundreds of pips to be made everyday, you just needs to be patient and wait for the right opportunity. One really don't need indicators, but just a good understanding of PA combined with fundamental understanding about the market. People try to complicate trading when its not really.

Quite a eventful beginning to September. I went long AN unlike a lot of people who are keen on shorting it just because it has reached RXXX. If you look weekly and monthly it shows strong bullish pattern. Higher TF's always shows the real trend. Fundamentally NZD dollar is taking a drubbing due to the weaker business confidence and the unstable political situation.

Well done, yes I am one who has been shorting AUDNZD, based purely on levels rather than structure and fundamentals.
It will turn at some point but I have wasted time and tied up equity. Thanks for your input.
its all just one persons opinion....

I was one of the guys selling Audnzd, obviously ended up in a loss. I have still a lot to learn, I like the one hour chart, how do you determine trend structure on the higher H4 timeframe? do you use any moving averages?

Hi guys

There will be trades that simply fail. There is nothing to do then take the loss.Move on and do more what works.
I think starting from next week market will more or less become "normal"
Summer liquidity is thin hence why pushing things up or done to extremes is easier achieved as we have seen on Euro however its not easy when market is in full swing without solid fundamentals to back it up.

August ending up -1137
Some of the positions I had to liquidate. Not discouraged part of trading.Good luck
In trading, you have to be defensive and aggressive at the same time

I think this is what separates people who can trade for a living and those that can't. Getting over the mindset of earning x dollars per day/week/month vs earning dollars with an edge over time. Never nice to "lose" money but trading is essentially a business with the cost of doing business being part of that. All the best for September to all here.

that's right, even businesses like Apple have losing periods. Just a part of the game.

I'd be patient before taking this one mate. Canadian economy is really good right now and there is a real chance of interest rate increase by BOC this week. Anything can happen of course but beware of fundi's. Good trading to you.
