Maybe a Forex newbie must not focus at start on how much to make monthly. The actual problem is to be above 0 for at least 1-2 months. A newbie must first find his/her edge in any market, test the edge, have confidence in their edge, start trading small and grow steadily without risking too much at first or going live with a big account and no experience.
It is probably true that 99% of all newbies are losing in trading (Forex, stocks).
But if any newbie wants to know how much a real professional trader makes a month, consistently, for the last 3-10 years than this is another thing:
- there are traders holding positions for days, weeks, months;
- traders that trade a few pairs;
- traders that use diversification and trade 10-20 pairs;
- traders that are scalpers -
and according to EACH one there is a different answer from 1-5% / month to 30-100% monthly. Of course you will find the majority of traders in the 2-15% monthly but there are exceptions that go as high as 100%(maybe more). Do not imagine that now YOU are going to make that much without a very good trading system, psychology, etc. The scalpers for example cannot place very large orders all the time.
There are high impact members here on FF that already debated this problem before me and described it more accurately and in all its complexity.

I don't care,that different currencies has different per pip value.It's only matter of traded volume.
After my account value increased,i just adjusted value of traded volume per trade and I still need just 30 pips a day,to make more money with some trading plan and money management.
