Disliked{quote} Thanks for reply! I have one more question. It seems I can only set up daily chart for tester using period converter. Will it be alright?Ignored
Disliked{quote} What worked for me was using the mt4 simulator pro as an expert in the strategy tester. How I did it was I loaded a 1 hour chart as the starting chart. Then loaded the chart with paradox h1 template. Then open your offline h2 and add paradox h2 template. One more step is add another period converter to the 1 hour and make to the multiplier value of 24. Then open an offline Daily chart. Then when you hit start you H1, H2, and Daily will be running and you can change the speed. Just remember it's not exactly like real market. Since your going...Ignored
Disliked{quote} If you run into problems just ask. It can be a little tricky getting it to run right.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Is your daily frozen? Because mine is I'll try different period converterIgnored
Disliked{quote} Make sure you choose the right offline for h2 and daily. There are usually a couple to choose from. It's not the period converter. Experiment until it runs with the h1. And choose dates no more than 2 months back. If your having freezing issues slow it down and/or load all your templates and charts with the sim on pause before starting it.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I actually have only one offline daily. It's not frozen because of performance as 1h and 2h are moving and daily is just stuck at the opening price...Ignored
Disliked{quote} And you have a second period converter on the h1 with multiplier value changed to 24 correct?Ignored

Disliked{quote} Yes. Notice how the daily psar has just come down into view on the daily. This is what I was talking about with the historical data. No more than a few months back because of this. They are all running. Play around and you will get it. {file}Ignored

Disliked{quote} Yeah Psars are different from normal chart. I guess data is not correct after all?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Nope, it's not perfect. Studying the real market is best. Don't rely on it.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I won't. I see 1h and 2h are fine, but daily is screwed. I'll trade normal charts.Ignored

Disliked{quote} Ok I decided to take a look at the Daily being off in the simulator and have found a way around it for anyone who is trying to be accurate with testing. Here is the solution. First off if you have used the mt4 simulator pro close it out(not your mt4 platform) and go to your data file/history/forex.com demo file. Delete the eurjpypro1440.hst file. Next open a 1 hour chart of eurjpy. Once opened click the daily tab timeframe. Now your Daily data will be loaded correctly. You should have many years history. Close your mt4. Next step is download...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I believe deleting the 1440.hst file will screw up the data once live.Ignored
