hope everyone is doing well here!

guys I have a question in regards to make backtesting easier:

it's quite annoying that when backtesting we actually need to move the 3 timeframes along at the same time.
does anyone know about a tool that for example when we scroll back on the 2 hour chart that the 1 hour and the daily chart will automatically move along so the timeframes are continuously synced?
this would help a lot and make backtesting more efficient.

I want to share my trading plan for today with you. Feel free to comment, as this is my first daily trading plan. I'd like to know if you see things the same as me or differently. Here it goes:

ROMAR: Resistance

NOTES: Market just below Smooth support with Purple touching White.

2 HOUR CHART:
Opening: 113.026

NOTES: H2 is in consolidation with Purple crossed both White and Smooth and open candle below EMA resistance.

1 HOUR CHART:

Notes: 4 horsemen are in a slider with EMA and Smooth sliding over Purple. Parabolics are eliminated as support as White is above Purple.

Short entry: With H2 being in consolidation I will wait for Purple to cross White down and open candle below Smooth on 2 hour chart with 4 horsemen on 1 hour chart in downtrend.
Long entry: At this time there is nothing indicating a long entry with all 3 ROMARs and EMA's being resistance.

I entered on the next candle (8.00 GMT) which showed the open below Smooth with Purple at White. Although Purple didn't cross White on H2 at that time I saw on the 1 hour chart the open candle below Purple with the Parabolic flip, so 4 horsemen lined up for downtrend, and MACD arrow down.

Since we were at the bottom of the chart and a new low was created on the 2 hour chart, I've put my SL on B/E after 20 pips. On the next candle the Fibo flipped to green and the market retraced so I got stopped out at B/E.

below my trade for the day.

reasoning:

EURJPY in a downtrend. we got a big retracement to between EMA and the PSAR on the 2 hour which aligned with a hit on the 1 hour ROMAR resistance.

only thing I'm not sure about here is the DB/SAR on the bottom as I cannot interpret it very well as of yet. I think we are still looking to go further down as we are trending down. after we also got the SAR attachment and I think the next target will be further down where we'll see the SAR attaching with the DB again for a further target down.

I moved my SL to +20 when I saw the retrace when price moved 38 pips in our favor. So I got stopped out.

At the end of the day I managed to execute my plan with entry of H2 White resistance and H1 EMA resistance, which just crossed ROMAR. I took a 20/20 trade, but in hindsight I could have easily gotten my 40 pips. Still glad with the winning trade though.

so I assume you went long? why? it was a very good shorting opportunity.

Sorry all, I'm traveling in SE Asia now and won't be back in the States for about 2 more months. So I'm out of sync with NY - daytime here is night there. The trade plan that I just posted is for the 19th, but it won't be the 19th in NY for a couple of hours. In other words I made that plan at 2000 hour on the 18th NY time. Thanks
