ok, hello again, today i struggled: UsdCad short, both 1hr 2hr stated strong sell at 07:37 est i entered short for 20 pip and i closed at 11:03 with just 4 pip. Along the way i had already noticed that h2 wasn't lined up properly, will try again tomorrow to find a better trade. Im allowing myself to trade with 3% risk to increase the tradesize a little bit, not sure if that is smart, until now 7 trades, 5 with profit exit on TP, 1 loser and 1 exit at market profit.

Hey there. If you want help you will need to switch for Eur/Jpy quote. It is a dovish market and the Paradox works best with them (manipulated markets). Don't get me wrong, the paradox works with any other quotes. But for the purpose of learning you need to use Eur/Jpy as stated by Dana.

Once you use Eur/Jpy it will be much easier for me to answer any questions as I got that quote running through my veins. lol

ok, today as stated in my previous post traded EJ buy as per paradox start at 08:40 finished 09:23 from 125.489 to 125.70. that went really well.

EUR, JPY and USD news will affect the quote.

For example, during your trade this morning there was a major USD release before your trade and minor news during it which could have very well made the market go the opposite way. Because of the volatility that it creates. Even the minor news you don't want to be in during their release.

my paradoxtrade today did not finish at 07:33 ny time i went long ej at 125.71 i noticed about 50 pip room toward the romar on daily. Rigth in the trade market changed direction and weak sell appeared. I exit with 10 pip loss. Tomorrow new chance

Anybody here having success with paradox since dove released it?
I have kept with it since about 3 weeks in January. If you sinc the charts from different periods and trade in the trend the Paradox indicators do give a good indication. Like with all indicators they lag and they cannot give the future. The trend is a friend and the Paradox does help to see this but use the different charts of daily for support and resistance, 2h to make you decision and the hour to finely tune when (if they are heading the same). Things like purple crossing smooth and following the EMA cross or the MA cross alert in a sequence, work about 60% of the time, if you follow them. The market is so random you cannot forecast and as the market will do these things and then suddenly change for no reason. Schrodinger's cat comes to mind. - It only changes because you are watching it.

Hi have been using this indicator for a couple months now and had some success on EURJPY but want to move onto another currency pair , what with the recent announcements of Britain moving away from euro was thinking about cable (USDGBP) but want to avoid that for same reason. Does anyone recommend a pair that they have had success with (although I am sure it would work great with anything. I'd just like to reiterate the thanks from many of forex factory members, you're a good man Dove

You can trade any pair with the system! It is even stated on this Thread ! (Read it from A to Z if it's not done yet).

Just make sure you don't trade subjectively (like : ''oh there's a bad news for the Yen I'll short it'').

You need to remain Objective and trade what the whole system is saying.


EUR/JPYworks great. You should stick to one pair! Be it the GBP/USD or if you feel crazy even, let's say, the RUB/SEK would work lol!

new to this thread, although I've read everything so far and took almost 150 pages of notes. will read and study again and again and again.
I just know this system is something extraordinary and it looks like this thread has been dying out.

If anyone wants to discuss more, keep posting! also interested in chatting with someone, pm me if you are interested in studying and discussing together.

all the tools and info are here, we only need to get a grasp on it.

Late in joining the game but can i ask what was the overall conclusion from those that are using this system?
Does the ~80% win rate hold true? also how was the relative drawdown?

can't say anything about the statistics yet from a personal point of view but from other members and dove it looks like that will be the case. drawdowns should be minimal given that you stick to the plan.

From what I've tried so far I've been succesful with it only half knowing what I'm doing but I feel the power in using the system.
I'd suggest you study and trade it for yourself and share your experience here.
