thanks for all your explanations.. I'll keep following this thread!
The contest account was closed and TE deleted.
I made few "manual" interventions which led to complete loss as broker does not support margin protection.

Hey abokwaik,

Perhaps a simple approach for avoiding a range, is a couple of filter options:

Not sure what would work best, but both easy to code

1) The entry should be a new high/low of the last n bars. So if you get an engulf within that range it will skip it.
2) A filter on minimum distance price has to be from the previous entry. So if you lost a trade in the range, it won't enter again, until price is x pips up/down.

Very quite here lately .... shhhh.

Big room for development, but I am letting the EA on its own for now to see how it can recover.

Can you make the EA to use like this logic where i plan to get the indicator from the other post but if we get in the ea we can optomise and see the result here is the logic use super Bullish / Bearish candle which will draw middle line of that candle when the candle close ust he body length only .I can put the body length in inches like 1 ,1.5 ,2 inches to see extreme bullish bearish candle only and should draw 50% as centre line immediately of such candle and have alert when next candle breaks up or down of the centre line (50%) if this can be in external out put too will be great thanks

If you're referring to entry on retrace. It's on my waiting list.

Its an Expert Advisor (EA). It should go under Experts Folder.
But it acts as an Indicator, giving alerts and not opening any trades.

Hi , you can use support resistance as to see clear enfulging like like the enfulging is bullish and break resistance take action
as buy vise versa for sell . stoploss to be next previous highest candle or lowest candle from the position taken

Yeah I used it right after you had uploaded this version and thanks for that.

But I was actually looking for an indy version which would go in the indicators folder coz I feel more comfortable that way.
