I am trying to use an SMI. But the problem is it is not moving as new candles form. It stays stagnant. When I open the properties box and press the OK button, then the SMI moves up to the last candle. How can I make it move automatically like other indicators.

Please take a look at the screen shot attached as a word document.

Any help is appreciated.
Thank you and warm regards,
George

(In future tho, it's best you don't embed your screenshot in usually-suspicious MS Office files. )

Good luck!

You will need to post the indicator as there is a limit to what can be achieved by looking at a screenshot. Post the mq4 source file of the indicator not the ex4 file
Trade what you see not what you hope

Hi, thank you everyone who tried to help me out. I found a SMI files from a different source and downloaded and installed it and it is working fine.
The reason I attached the word file is because "Print Screen and Ctrl V" is not working. Not sure why. Please let me know if you would know the reason.

Thank you and regards,
George

If you can't get Ctrl V to work for your machine, you could try saving your screenshot as a JPG on your Desktop, and then "Upload From Computer."
