Disliked{quote} Yes, Q725 for entry and exit. But that Q number alone is not important. Trade sizes are very important too to control DD. See the trade sizes I mentioned somewhere in my earlier posts.Ignored
Thx.

Dislikedi found that indicator but unfortunately (i dont know 100%) its repaints... but its show very good entry points and filter quantum signals a lot... Can You guys have a look on that ? {file} {file} What do You think guys ? meaby You could recomend some indicators like that one but not repaint ? to filter signals better ? Regards OverPower!Ignored
Disliked{quote} You can use the strategy tester to figure that out. But I can tell you in advance any indicator based in zigzag will repaint. The no repaint versions will give you a signal too late.Ignored
DislikedHello Everyone, I keep getting the situation where the EA just stops making trades for some reason - this seems to happen randomly - is anyone else experiencing this? I am using Shaolin Version 1.3.2 - I have checked the logs and the EA was connected but no trade was triggered - the following screen shots show the chart but no trade taken - when I run a back test it works properly - see also attached printout of BT - this occurs on GBPUSD and Also EURUSD today (20th) - it happened on EXNESS and also Forex.com platforms - any clues anyone? maahome...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Shaolin - have you been able to resolve the EA not restarting the cycle when it is re installed when trades are open? Cheers maahomeIgnored
Disliked{quote} Hi maahome, I have a fix for this. Apologies for the delay, haven't had a good moment to sit down and publish the version. I'll do it soon!Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Mastermind - we ran some tests on the EURCHF also using 240/240 but only trading 01:00 to 07:59 GMT - results were good for an unattended set up Regards maahomeIgnored
Disliked{quote} Almost missed this post....... Yes I've had a look over the ranges and the way the pair behaves long term and it looks really good. So I've added it to my list of pairs and am trading it quite aggressively........ and monitoring the trades of course! Masterrmind...........Ignored
Disliked{quote} That is excellent Masterrmind - look forward to seeing how you go with it. We are concentrating on the unattended settings but only using the time window noted, results to date are good - more a curiosity than anything - best pair to date is EURUSD then EURCHF. We are also running the GBPUSD, GBPAUD and the AUDCAD. All backtested well and we are now forward testing. Cheers maahomeIgnored
Disliked{quote} I am assuming that you are referring to the M1 time frame in all cases. From my perspective I'm trading the following: M1: mainly EChf, EG but also AU, GU, UCad and a few others from time to time but some days I trade only 2 pairs on the M1 TF; H1: AU and GU; H4: EA, GA, ECad, GCad, EN, GN, and GJ = the volatile beauties! I look at applying PA, harmonics and fundamental techniques in setups either prior too or after a Q box (Q = 50 is an example) has or will print. The higher TF's are quite interesting and although you could expect the trades...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Masterrmind, Yes we are operating on M1 only for those setups. I spend most of my time trading the DAX and the GBPAUD with a couple of specific strategies I use so these automated attempts are something to play with cheers maahomeIgnored
Disliked{quote} Yes I'm a PA, harmonics and fundamental trader to the core but I see real value in adding a little (or a lot) to the account balance by applying an EA for entries using the Q and then managing and monitoring the trades through to completion. Works well I must say Note: due to some bugs in the code the EA cannot be left to run and operate a cycle of trades alone since it performs operations that are weird if for example the internet connection is stopped temporarily and if the EA is started and then the Q entry or exit value is changed and...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Navk, The best approach always appears to be when cycles of trades are monitored and acted upon by an informed trader. I ran the EURGBP [M1; 725 - 725] pair through the strategy tester on MT4 (with so-so 25% quality data) and over the last 3 weeks the results came out quite good. 3 weeks of trading 10K gave a profit of 19K+ for a balance = 29K. About 190% gain in 3 weeks (based on this data) Average profit trades about 10 times greater than average losing trades ($49.43/$4.76) which is a great statistic to have. Maximal DD about 33% and...Ignored
Disliked{quote} It is important to check the volatility of each pair for 12 weeks before choosing a pair to trade this system. Undoubtedly eurgbp, eurchf are the best pairs to trade at the current moment. See this site for volatility for last 12 weeks. https://www.mataf.net/en/tools/02-01-volatilityIgnored
Disliked{quote} The best pair to trade over time (neglecting the SNB which is unlikely to occur any time soon or again!) was the EURCHF pair. There will always be small periods of historical data that produce a better result from say another pair but its important to look at multiple periods of historical data (1 week, next month, previous 3 months, prev. 6, 9, 12, previous year, prev 2..... up to 10 years) This is what I did for EURCHF pair and then I did the same for multiple other pairs and multiple other combinations to simply form an opinion that the...Ignored
