Disliked{quote} Bill, we can not know when it will be a big DD. Therefore, we begin each new grid with the initial deposit. It gives more confidence that these settings do not allow big DD. {quote} This value is given in the deposit currency. If before the opening of the first order in the account was $ 500, and the parameter "Test: a new grid with a fixed margin" is equal to $ 200, then the DD more than $ 200 this option settings will be rejected. Later, when the account is $ 1,000 and the drawdown will be more than $ 200, this option setting will also...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks Genry I thought it was a percentage of the account size and it automatically recalculates and adjusts the $ figure. but the way you are describing it we will have to update this value manually as our account growsIgnored
Disliked@John how is your trading? I'm trying your set file and I have around 4 trades per day. In general it may small but profitable. However on the Russian forum I see that they are able to manage to have more trades per day.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Dear Chau, I only have 2 trades today! {image} You can modify the set with big Money and for back-testing, It will be good profitable. For me, I only want to know the ultimate value $100 of the set, for $100 get profit is very hard than $1000 or $10000. After that, you can modify $1000/$10000, all up to you!~ Because of the different broker and account with diff spreads, so for this $100 account, only can do this. But you can try to use Alpari ECN account to try, I think the result will be same with them! I am lazy to change...Ignored
Disliked{quote} This is indeed very useful . My trades are the same as yours. When reviewing your earlier posts I believe that it does makes sense that the EA only make a few trades per day to limit the risks you are exposed to.Ignored
Disliked@Genry so the blue lines are the boundaries of yesterday. The red dotted is the H4 resistance and green dotted is H4 supporting? Then how should it trigger the buy/sell orders? Once nearing the daily line it should either sell or buy?Ignored

Disliked{quote} Dear Santoso777, ! Try to follow Master Genry's instruction and modify your own set.Ignored
DislikedThose humps are coming because of the grid expanding to its last set where it takes very large risk and then closes on reversal with big gains. Somehow the strategy tester is marking it as DD because the first of the grid closes giving big gains and then rest of the grid closes and pulls the balance down. This is not really a DD but just a single set of grid that is closing. Also try the testing thru 2008 ...and then see the number of times when the balance (green line) dips into valley. Those are the real DD and when they happen, they can kill...Ignored
