On the old Mt4 build I used the script and libraries attached in order to export data from MT4 to excel (see attachments).

Now in mql5 I put:
ExcelExportLib under MQL4\Libraries and
ExcelexportTest under Script

It does not work anymore.

Can somebody help me ?

Tt was coded for MT4. Did it work on MT5?

I thank you very much, but this is mql5. I would like to have it for MT4 build 600 + (i.e.the build where mql5 was inserted).
May be I can include the files you sent me also on Mt4 build 600+?

first of all I want to thank you for your time.
I downloaded the ExcelExportLib and the ExcelExportTest for the new buil. Unfortunately it does not work: error : ExcelInit failed !!!!

I reattached the files here.
1. Place ExcelExportTest.mq4 to Scripts folder
2. Place ExcelExportLib.ex4 to Libraries folder
3. Restart MT4
4. Make sure Excel is open, sheet name = Sheet1
5. Run ExcelExportTest script

I would really like also to import from Excel to MT4.
I've been searching all around for ways to do that but I cannot find any good ones.
I even tried writing an ExcelRead function, using DdeClientTransaction with other flags, but it didn't work.

Could you point me to the right direction?

By the way, I changed your ExcelWrite function to fit multiple characters transmission, it otherwise sent only the first char from the string.

I tried the script with MT4 ,the only output is I just have from Indonesia with love!

I just need to export the current chart OHLC to csv for some calculations.
