Disliked{quote} i just read your post after i had just posted to M & Co. horses for courses. Some people like cars, nice sedate Bentleys or at the other end Lambo's and i prefer 20 year old fast bikes.Ignored
Disliked{quote} My current 20 yr old bike will only go as fast as I can turn the pedals!!...my other 20 yr old fast bike ('99 black triumph speed triple like Tom Cruise rode in MI2) had to be sold 18 years ago to fund first house deposit ...it was a lovely machine. Even worse.... about once every couple of years it passes me somewhere round Belfast! I get my head out the window to hear it go past .Ignored

Disliked...Disliked{quote} Hi again Avery (and thanks to Claudia and Stu for your input) Firstly, and I hope briefly lol... I am 65 and retired. Trading isn't my "living", but it does supplement my (our) superannuation pensions. I am a conservative person by nature, and so my targets are also conservative. I look for 4 pips which yields somewhere between 1% - 1.5%. I am still holding a counter from early last week. I did miss a couple of opportunities to "fix" it, because of other "demands". It is for 15 pips and is about 5% in value. I haveIgnoredIgnored
Disliked{quote}{quote} Exactly Billy. I used to be a bit of a "glass half full" type of person, and would have been thinking.....I'm holding onto a losing trade here. I should just close it and take the loss. Now my thinking is more "glass half full".....and I see no reason to close it if I can fix it. I have no doubt that you have a lot of fix options in your armory. It's now my job to discover a few of those options for myself. You have thrown a lot of hints out to me (us) over the course of this thread, so I just have to figure it out. Cheers and thanks...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I understand your frustrations Avery. Hoping I am not speaking out of turn here. A question for you, in line with your feeling of gambling, how do you determine if a trading approach/system/method has validity and a reasonable probability to be profitable in the long run?Ignored

DislikedTook the break of the 2-hour range after market open. I took it a bit early as I was hoping the daily pivot would be a magnet.....and thankfully it was. Closed it for +9.5 pips, so happy with that......I weakened and didn't hang on for the pivot lol. Never mind. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Nice one. Was tempted but the Browns' game was too much of a distraction, lol.Ignored
