Disliked...DislikedHey, I've got a question, not related to any of the methods, but trading itself. I came across an old video from another galaxy regarding the "exit playbook" and got me thinking. When you start testing a new method, how do you go about it? (whichever that might be) I mean, once you've got the stats where you see something that'd give you an edge, how do you build your trading plan i did ask you to pick a date. i just scrolled back my G/U charts to a random date. i t went to year 2011 {image} a chart like this holds informationIgnoredIgnored

Disliked{quote}{quote} Sorry, back when you asked me to pick a date I was going to ask "and what do I do with it?" but you replied earlier . {quote} Are those lines the ones mentioned at the other place? I understood the idea behind them, but I couldn't learn to draw them. Partly because a big chunk of the first charts are gone (old/expired image links I suppose). I guess I got late to the party .Ignored

Disliked{quote} i originally compounded manually using several trades and 2 brokers. this was when you could compound example 20 with 20 margin. Those days are long gone unless you have a bank roll to assist to off set the margin. pros are ok to a certain extent.Ignored
Disliked{quote} hey billyt, Regarding compounding, Consider price going from 100 to 160.. price 100 lots = 1 stop = 80 actualProfit = 0 risk = 20 price 120 lots = 2 stop 100 actualProfit = 20 (+20) risk = (2 lots*20) price 140 lots = 4 stop 120 actualProfit = 60 (20 + 40) risk = (4 lots*20) price 160 lots = 8 stop 160 actualProfit = 140 (60+80) risk = (8 lots*20) if the price is at 140 and retreats to 120 you lose 4 lots *20 = 80 points - 60 you have already gained = -20 pips total loss Is all of this correct? thanksIgnored
