According to FACT: Ironfx not pure ECN/STP, it has market maker service in all accounts types except one account type under the name ECN/STP, not sure if that's pure ECN/STP or ironfx mix prices, but at least ironfx have liquidity providers( http://www.ironfx.com/en/about/advantages/liquidity), not like the scammer hotforex claim to be ECN/STP without any liquidity providers!!!

Correct; I compared the spreads from different accounts and I think they are true. I also checked the link you put and they do advertise real liquidity providers.

no withdraws in IRON, we have almost 20 clients, who have problems with that; starting 2015 year IRON is not the same company as before; if you have profits forget about the withdraws; from 2015 bonus is the reason to keep the money long time, too much money for marketing last 3 years, The Board has no money. Be careful

Hey bro, I hope you shall get your money back soon. Although this is not a thread on their withdraw problems and you will find more help in the dedicated discussions. If you feel you were scammed, it might help most to submit a complaint to the proper regulatory body. Speaking of which, I have never heard of any enforcement action against IronFX so far, which left me wondering how many of the complaints nowadays are real and how many are competitors grasping at straws to damage the targeted brokers(s). Ironfx has been quite open about the situation currently occurring (in China at least) regarding shady traders abusing promotions and essentially attempting to take advantage from the company.

Have you opened an ECN/STP account with them if yes what is your feedback. I think after the SNB crisis i would not seek for an STP/ECN broker, maybe mm in order to feel safer, also i would ask them if the have negative balance protection as a starting point.

Hi there, which one did you go with at last? Some said it is a good idea to go with ASIC regulated brokers.

I did some research on them they seem to be regulated under a lot of regulators, why ASIC is different ? Is it true that the face problems with their withdraws?

It comes from client fund segregation perspective, especially after the Alpari UK saga. Below is a direct quote from a more experienced trader here on FF, Phil:

"Just like in all countries with regulators , they (the ASIC) are Bureaucrats; they know how to make tea and organize their meetings around their lunchtime flirtations with secretaries - always making sure they can't get blamed for anything. ( from me...)

What you really want to know is what is the Law; the Law that governs segregated accounts in Australia especially when an Administrator/Liquidator/Receiver Manager gets called in.

The ASIC has a HORRENDOUS track record of inaction against some of the most massive frauds committed in Australia; most recently and notably the billion dollar fraud committed by the Commonwealth Bank.

But to say it again, it is the Law you want to know about."

Stop joking my friend.. you are looking for ECN in Ir...? this is the cave of gambling.. there is only one +, many employees and that is all; Cysec is not going to help you... currently over 500 claims in Cysec beacuse of Ir...People are scared and furious. The broker is not going to give them money back. This is a big mistake. This is not the true market.

i have read about this situation but i have found other articles which say the opposite, that this clients were abusing their promotions and they had to investigate their accounts. However i dont plan to trade with bonus or at least until fell confident with them. I will try with low balance and see if the rumours are true or not. whats your experience? have you used ECN with them ?

Hey there, not familiar with local law on this aspect, but to be on the safe side, you might want to keep an account with their UK entity, or other brokers for that matter with UK FCA regulation which essentially can be "passporting" to EEA States (incl. Poland) under MiFID.

Basically that was going to be my second question is FCA more safe than CySec? having read all this things happened to a lot of brokers and also the negative feedback about Ironfx, i try to find a solution so my funds will be safe! should i only seek if a broker is regulated? Is it enough ?

I think regulation is necessary but not necessarily sufficient. The transparency of the broker towards its policy and operation, its financial numbers (capitalization, active traders and trading volume), reputation (probably not entirely from internet which can be biased) would be very good indicators in my opinion.

With regards to ironfx which is the topic of this thread, they seem to have a considerable presence in Poland as per published information on LR, but I think you will need more research yourself to find out their reputation in local market. http://leaprate.com/2014/12/ironfx-i...ading-volumes/

Good luck mate and happy trading.
