I Took a very risky short @ 185.85 although 186.11 was the point I was looking for a reversal play. will TP @ 185.05 ....I am actually looking for a long position later in the Euro Session. I think Fridays New York high @ 185.01 would be more of a major zone than 185.42 especially with this momentum

I am long - and have been for a looooong time - but this feels like one of those massive retraces on the horizon.... ultimately the trend will hold long of course... I can only base this on a feeling.... but that's all I got.... after while you just start to get familiar with how a pair behaves... kinda weird...

Nice, I shall Subscribe Already reached TP target here but that was really quick....that's the dragon for you. I believe we have some bearish inclined traders here. I wonder how far this may drop though before we get some long set ups

I look at this as an opportunity to get in long...but buying now might be trying to catch the proverbial knife. A 3 bar reversal on the 185.00/20 zone will be ideal for a controlled risk long position. Let see in the next 15-30 mins
So much buy orders were waiting at the 185.00 level.... Looking at the 1 hr pin bar forming which will be the 3 bar reversal on the 15min chart. Definitely a high probability trade to look for long entries. With candle sticks been quite long might either wait for a pull back or reduce position size to adjust for risk. Ill wait for the pull back ...good luck guys and hopefully make pips which ever direction you choose

Killer position you got there .... got in a buy order @ 185.16 with Sl @ 184.90 and TP open for now. calling it a good evening and closing platform. will evaluate during Frankfurt. cheers

1/4 186.10/00 got rejected then break of DP 185.60/40 (is pivot now) and strong dip at 1/4 185.00/4.80; range is defined. This range is the origin of the swing to DP (2) 187.60/40 or (4) 183.20/00

Rejection at 186.00 doesn't negate the bullish bias for GBPJPY until it holds above 184.30. The pair seems to resume its upward trajectory towards 192.00 resistance once it decisively clears 186.00 hurdle.

No it doesnt, if 1/4 185.00/84.80 holds here and we get back into DP (3) 185.60/40 + decent break, its a good indication it may resume the fundamental trend.

Add: If DP (3) 185.60/40 gets rejected it may continue down.

On sentiment changes, try to trade the other side. If you are long-only, thats a trade-off for you then. But if you go long term wait to buy below lows or lower price.

Even if he does give a sign of weakness it doesnt change the fundamental side as long as the policy is in place but it may cause a sentiment change, this difference is crucial.
