Well done Jakucha
In this trade you did it perfectly, entry and exit. Couldn't be better.
Why did you close there? BRN? That candle wasn't even close =)

DAX +35 Small risk blind entry on Weekly and Daily SR (pink and red). But annoying to go with coin toss trades when you can just ride it all the way down like dee probably did, adding at every small pullback. I mean, come on, look at these MAs, what was i doing just watching it.... {image}

And agree with your sentiment on trading after pullbacks. Looks really easy when chart is already formed, but meanwhile I know how it feels. We tend to enter on the opposing side, "trying" to get the whole reversal move when there's no need to do so. Just follow trends.

Do you like better CCI than stochs and MACD? How you use it and why instead?

Sure, the entry i explained already, exit, well, as you can see, it was quite a nice move up already and i planned to close at 10150 but i was doing something else (not a full time trader). then i saw 10150 was hit and closed it manually. simply i forgot to put a take profit.

About the CCI, I just studied last weekend some of the content posted here by the member who the haters love to hate instead of bitching and found some interesting things in the process, did some backtesting and still trying it out. But so far so good I must say. Same use as the rest, identifying cycles. Of course as we very well know, better performing when ranging, but in a strong trend can give you the pulbacks quite nicely. Also switched to mean renko instead of renko (less noise), and to 2.5 / 5 instead of 5/10, and always a classic chart on the side for PA and fibs.

Nice Jakucha...
What you mean by "mean renko"? What is the difference and how you set it up?

DAX +24

Last one for today, sold the 78.6 fib, probably could have added heavy after the 123 pattern confirmed and also maybe closed lower as target was lower flip zone but let's not be greedy and give back some profits now, it's been a good day, more than the ATR with singles lots. if only it was every day like this !

EDIT: given the reaction at the obvious daily / weekly SR zone this morning, new daily highs are not to be excluded now, let's see how the daily candle ends but buying deeper retracements until the first half of may might be a good idea if some signs of up trend show up. Maybe it can close the gap around 10680. We don't know yet, and until 10520 are tested again.

Great trading J, I'd like to know how your Superjolt Duplicator to work I've tried and tried, I presume you drew the S&R lines on a separate chart and the Superjolt Duplicator printed them on the Renko chart?

hello !

so

1) this is a proprietary indy that i cant share unfortunately, that plots the four most recent and significant SR lines from timeframes from m1 to w1. im lucky it also works on renko charts; but i can give u a hint, look for PZ Support Resistance and dig the web a few minutes. you may find something that could help. but again, nothing better than our eyes.

2) fast is 8 and slow is 20. i could post the indies here but i suggest you find there where they ve been posted originally on FF as you might, as i did, learn a lot as well from the thread http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=486543

EDIT: i see you re familiar with the thread so you know already.

Here's another one. Pretty solid, works on Renko as well.

Thanks but,I have the indie posted here by Clive back in the early days when I was just lurking.

I had thought you used this http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...70#post8521770
to lift your S&R lines from the M! or H$ or W1 charts to your offline chart. I wasn't asking for how you drew the S&R lines.

Here's the closet to the Mean Renko.

3 pips Median Renko 100% increment, threw in the Clive's CCI histo although he used just the 14 period CCI with the 120 LWMA

DAX +21 +15 +29

Good day peeps!

First entry, resistance and round number, closed early again as my target was the blue rectangle below
Second entry, retracement to round number, closed on rectangle
Third entry, long in demand and 78 fib, this one may well be a very early exit as target was the top blue rectangle.

Think it's time to start using double entries and let one of the two run at BE.
