Sydney, April 11: EUR/JPY buying and EUR/USD short covering has pushed the EUR/USD up to a session high at 1.5787. The EUR/USD has traded with a bid tone since moving above hourly resistance at 1.5760 with the next level of resistance found at former support around 1.5810. Traders say that short EUR/USD positions are squaring up ahead of the European open, as that market might view the slide lower seen during the US session as a buying opportunity after the pairing hit an all-time high in Europe yesterday. Helping to support the EUR/USD is speculation that sovereign names are on the bid between 1.5730/40 and expectations that Middle East names might still be buyers of EUR/USD on dips as they were the main buyers yesterday. The EUR/USD trades 1.5775/80.

Tokyo, April 11. USD/JPY and JPY crosses look to be freshly bid going into the European open with USD/JPY making tracks above the 102.00 area where it held for most of the Tokyo afternoon and EUR/JPY up to fresh highs of the session. USD/JPY is currently trading 102.12/14, still below the 102.28 spike high seen this morning. EUR/JPY trades 161.07/10, having traded up to as high as 161.20/25 a short while ago.
USD/JPY sees resistance still towards the session high and then ahead of presumed option barriers at 103.00. Although stops are eyed above this latter level, Japanese exporter offers which trail higher from 103.00 should provide some headwind on attempts higher should the pair move up this high. Downside support in USD/JPY looks to be firm at 101.50-60 with more bids clumped around 101.00 and trailing lower. Japanese importers and investors who were unable to buy at yesterday"s lows look to be eyeing dips once again. EUR/JPY seen topside resistance at 161.75, the high on Tuesday, with more around 162.00 and then at 162.30, the spike high on January 11. Support below looks to be firm towards 160.00, 160.15 the low in early Asian trading today.

欧洲开盘前美元/日元和日元交叉盘再次呈现买调，美元/日元上破102.00，欧元/日元升至时段新高161.20/25。美元/日元阻力仍在时段高点和 103.00障碍期权，后者上方有止损，103档还有日本出口商卖盘。美元/日元下方坚挺支持在101.50-60，更多买盘云集于101.00及其下 方。欧元/日元上方阻力在161.75，周二高点，更多阻力在162.00和162.30，下方坚挺支持在160.00。美元/日元现报 102.02/05，欧元/日元现报160.96/99。

Read my post earlier... my target 1.9655... a few pips above Complete Retracement. Considering spread factor Placed the trade... monitor the PRICE ACTION... and "tawakal".

p/s: PO SELL might be placed for breakout if Cable seems having momentum to break the Strong Support.

Fiber seems gaining strength... Cable can't fall lower IF Fiber keep shooting UP.

I am not good at this pattern... looking at Cable H1 chart... is that a POSSIBLE Head and Shoulder formation in action?

Please advise if you are good at recognizing H&S pattern.

Real action on Geppy now. Expecting a rebound at 50% Fibbo Fail to break that... bounce UP could reach the Yellow Resistance Trend Line. However, IF Geppy Bear is strong enough to break it... further down south.

I dont think its from Big Boys... Brokers must be hunt for the near SL... I still remember someone told me that for every opening market session, they will clear all the near SL to start back clean... gggrrrrr....

OR Market IN DENIAL still. G7 Meeting today. My personal view... high possibility they gonna do something to strengthen back the US Dollar. The Greenback is spiral falling now... that is bad ... high impact and hurting the world Import Export and Trade Balance badly. Something got to be done to safeguard this.

p/s: Only that the report will be released on Saturday. Expecting Monday gonna be VERY VOLATILE!!!

Uh Macroeconomics topic again. I love it! Let me explain this in a simple term.

Just imagine USD is seriously loosing value and Ringgit Malaysia strengthening so much. As we know... USA is our BIGGEST trade partner. Let say we are exporting "cincalok/belacan" over there. What would the price be? Of cause getting more expensive isn't it? Thus... lead to less demand. At the end hurting the factory producing "cincalok/belacan". One more thing... imagine what gonna cost US Investor to open up a factory here in Malaysia? With rising Currency rate against them... more expensive labour... They would think twice to make a business here.

Since Malaysia has no significant impact to the world economy scope. Take JAPAN for an example. The CAR manufacturing business. Can US consumer later on afford to buy Mitshubishi OR Nissan OR Toyota with the rising price? Thus... can't see much "drifting" action in USA :. Surplus and expensive is a recepy for disaster. Demand will deteriorate significantly. Japan will suffer.

It's a VISCOUS CYCLE / CIRCLE.
