I'm sorry I didn't find this thread sooner; thanks for sharing your system!
Just a thought that may give increased win rates that could be repeated every week but based on a monthly candle since it seems to have a better probability of success than other time frames:
What if we were to create a monthly candle at the end of each week - so it would be formed from data from the previous 4 weeks? As a example, if we wanted to trade the monthly candle next Monday the 9th, we would go back to February 9th and create a candle which includes all data from February 9th to March 9th, then trade exactly as you have outlined based on that candle. No idea if it would work the same way as the calendar monthly candle but I kind of suspect it would. To make this easy, we would simply need an offline chart indicator or EA that would make the a chart for us based on the 4 week period of our choice and show the resulting up or down candle. I'm sure this would be a simple task for many of the great coders on FF......... Just a thought, what do you think?
