Just wondering. Sure, I know that GBPUSD is a high volatility pair and many like to trade high volatility. But I'm wondering what pairs may be considered low volatility. I remember Mudd calling a certain pair "dependable".
I have my ideas (maybe EURCHF and EURGBD), just wondering what other traders might consider in this catagory. Thanks for any advice.

That is why I like to trade this pair interday. Although recent market events have pushed up the ATR significantly, I still like this pair for it's long term trends.
As for EURCHF.... if the EUR goes up, CHF goes down, so that is a double whammy when looking at volatility.
Perhaps you are talking about ATR, which deals more with the height of the candles. USDJPY has a low ATR but high volatility....

ATR is used for measuring the relative volatility hence if ATR of a specific currency pair is low then the volatility is low and inverse. Btw, we're having the most volatile currency market in decade...
