Whats the most technically "aware" pair??

Am I mad in thinking that to trade using technical analysis then it would be best to trade the pair which follows the technicals most closely?

If so does anyone know of any info out there showing each pairs reliance on technicals compared to fundamentals?

Arbitrary and subjective.
There are a thousand different technical patterns and indications. It would be impossible to survey them all.

I trade a reverse divergence method.
The Yen pairs are more consistent for me.

Different pairs behave differently in different circumstances. I'm not sure any one pair is more technically "aware" than others. Some are more volatile, some range more often, etc. My advice would be to 'get to know' how a pair trades before you put real money on it.

All liquid pairs are technically aware, the difference between them are the traders involved. You need to treat forex like a poker game, if there is an obvious setup on the chart especially on the shorter time frames, my thought process goes like this: This is too obvious, if these first in traders are going to get played back against where will it stop? Ok I'll wait for them to get taken out. Price action goes to that area after a failed initial move and I'm jumping in knowing full well the real players are going to start pushing. And they do.
My point is trade as if you know what people will do and think farther ahead than them. It will put a lot of confidence in you after a few trades where price doesn't even remotely threaten your starting price from the first minute you entered.
