With all due respect, you act as a newbie. You will never become a trader if you are looking for the holy grail. You should instead concentrate on your trading.

how big is your stoploss? i can see you got good graph if you got a big stoploss and small profit it wont last thats my humble opinion

I went and talked to my friend, and he showed me the stupidity that i had done, i was copying his trade but i was not copying his trade lots ( ratio wise)
so it didnt' matter to my EA if he was opening a trade with 1 microlot or 1 mini or 1 standard lot, i foolishly put in a fixed lot size of 0.70

so even when he had a paper loss of 60$, and then he went into profit , it wiped out my equity and EA closed my account at 6000$

now i am copying his trades, after showing him settings, hopefully, this account will last.

( his system is good and still profitable, fault lies in my stupidity of using over leverage. it really cuts both ways, painfully!)
I follow your demo now.... will start copy in future if it profitable enough with not too high risk.
Did anyone figure out yet what the strategy is?

Just so you know, he has started a new explorer. The original one had shocking drawdown.

Also the current one is averaging 4 pips a win. In demo this is fine but in live 4 pips usually equates to break even or a loss when you factor the spread.

Someone else came to ask ff members if he should give up his day job because he is making killing in forex market. Muppets joined his Skype room and paying him $50 a month. FF now has moved his thread to commercial section.

If this guy is copying his friend why would he come here and created a thread?

there is a holy grail trade - Linda Raschke and many others came up with it - buy on dips in an uptrend, sell on rallies on a downtrend. She uses daily timeframe with stocks and waits for the shorter 10 SMA to pull back to the longer 20 SMA. For forex you can use 15 min, 30 min, 1 h , 4h, or daily. I also incorporate Elliott Wave - so on an impulse move waves 3 and 5 can be extended so that's around 7 dips (trades) on a particularly strong move. I am a manual trader. For scalping you can use 1-5 min TF.

Before you start with forex,you might learn to deal with dates. You are answering 6 year old thread and competent123 has been seen last time on FF 5 years ago.
So just keep calling him, patience is needed in forex.
