Is there a good primer for learning JForex or other Java based APIs that is supported by a few ECN Brokers? I can develop in Java no problem.
I've been coding my EA framework in MQL4 up to this point. At first I welcomed the increased language capabilities and expressiveness brought about by the MQL4 OOP changes , but I'm really starting to losing confidence in this platform , for several reasons. I just feel there is an element of risk sticking with MQL4 (bugs, "how fast can I close a ticket" ServiceDesk etc )
I'm thinking of migrating my work before it becomes too big to contemplate moving ... And I dont use Chart features nor indicators. Mainly price action and trying to understand the market makers etc.
I'd rather invest all my time concentrating on my code, rather than being distracted with the idiosyncrasies of MQL4++. Anyone made the switch and regretted or glad?
