So here is a guide to get rid of the Codebase / Signals tab in a easy and reversible way:
Disable Codebase tab:
Go to <Your MT4 directory>/profiles/ and delete the codebase.dat file, then create a directory named codebase.dat
Disable Signals tab:
Go to <Your MT4 directory>/history/signals/ and delete the signals.dat file, then create a directory named signals.dat
This simple trick prevents MT4 from downloading / creating the Codebase and Signals data as it canīt create both files if there is already a directory with the same name. Both tabs will disappear and / or will be empty this way. To reverse this, simply remove both directories and MT4 will work as before and get the Signals / Codebase again.
