DislikedPersonally I was short and got destroyed. But I think the price paid was well worth the lesson learned. The phrase, "buy the rumor and sell the news" comes to mind. An interest rate hike of 3.5% was expected (rumored) on the NZD and it traded accordingly (GBP/NZD went down). But just think about WHEN news is released; if it turns out to be 3.5%, then nothing really happens because it was priced in already, and if rumor was false and it was lower, then GBP/NZD would have shot up. So either way, i should have probably have taken my profit before news....Ignored
