trading journal monocorfx

Trading for now 5 pairs, EU, GU,AU, EA,GJ. I want to have a journal, where I can make notes, post my trades, that I would have a chance to check my trades any time.

So, for now what I have, genesis system with some VSA analysis. In genesis replaced stoch with trix, i like it better, and CCI for some additional information.

This week all my trades was based on pivots, more specifically pivot rejection. I have added to my charts round numbers ( 0, 25, 50, 75, 100), and murrey levels as price showed reaction to this levels as well.
I am not an expert in VSA, I am learning this methodology, and it is pretty interesting to see how will make a progress on this as well.

So from today, I had 2 trades, and both end up Be.

My pivots is based on 12 am EST, I know that close of the market is at 5pm, and my pivots slightly different from activeforex, but it is the way I like it, used before and will keep using !

Next Monday, it is going to be a begging of this journey

Not much today! One trade end up BE. US holiday no market activity so far !

I had some changes in the chart set up, as I don't need genesis on my chart, it is just taking place, I don't even look on it.

Trix is under the question ? I like it, but I don't use it. I placed one of my favorite indicators CCI, and thinking to replace Trix with CCI. As I using this indicator just for confirmation, nothing more !

Today was only one trade +25 pips !

So far so good. Have been waiting for this trades all day, and patience paid off
Closed two trades EU +30 pips, GU +27 pips

Today I am really busy, I will explain my trades later, by the end of week. As I am trading in Ukraine interbank, and dollar is just smashing UAH, I have made 300 pips in couple of days.
So trades from forex. GU one trade BE, and 2 trades still open, AU closed +25

quick update on GU, trades closed, one +22 pips, and second trade +18 pips!

3 trades for now, GU +18, AU +12, and EU closed for +11 pips

One more trade from today +18 pips

What a day, closed one more trade +25 pips. And still have EU open for now +40 pips

Today, I had 2 trades so far EU +44 pips, GU +13 pips.

There is nothing wrong with taking profits early. If the trade is good, and goes further, it will have afforded re-entry opportunities. The adage "Let your winners ride." is bull shit. Take profits. It strengthens your account. Re-enter if the trade is still good.
It is far better to give up a little profit by taking profits and re-entering. It not only more quickly strengthens your account, but it is far better than putting faith in the adage "Let your winners ride", and finding yourself sometimes riding them right back into losses after temporarily achieving very nice profits!
Take the profits. Re-enter on retraces if the move still looks like it has potential. And always watch like a hawk .
