I'm looking for an EA that will open and close trades if distance between MAs is a variable number of pips like 5.10 etc. Selectable MA & selectable separation. Thanks Paul
Yes i have found this intersting as well, the fact that at a certain distance between MA 20, 39, 69, 200 (close, exponential) there is a high probability that price will go to the slower MAs once it has penetrated and locked through a faster one. Is it something like this that you have found?
After a lot of counting i found it to be to little profit in this, at least for manual trades. It would need a speedy broker to, if you wanted effiency. I dont know if Alpari that i am using now would do, quite a lot of requotes on my live account. I try to adapt to this and close and open trades right before/after candles close on M1, at these few seconds you are rarly requoted.
