Im putting this in the ea thread since I didn't want to clutter up the other one.

I'm having problems getting this ea to create pending orders. No matter what settings I put, it places market orders even though the original order is not entered yet. Any ideas. Im with a 5 digit broker oanda, don't know if that makes a difference.

are my settings obviously wrong? Im following the example as best I can.

With these settings I end up with 5 orders in the market immediately

Need a bit more information
In your example, what pair were you trading?
You say that the original order is not entered yet, but you have entered a ticket number in OpenTicket. What does this ticket number relate to?

Hi, i was trading aud jpy. What I meant by not entered yet, was that it was a pending order. This pending order had not been triggered. I referenced it in the ea settings, and when I hit Ok ea opened the 5 market orders.
Ok, I get it now. You cant use with pending order, must have order in the market, otherwise produces this behaviour. thanks.
Managed to get the pending orders in. But Take Profit is showing 0.00, ie not set in the triggered order. I have adjust TP set to true. Am I doing something else wrong>

I have tried and tried, but I find it impossible to get the EA to open pending orders unless the original trade is open. It will not open any pending orders if the input "OpenTicket" is a pending order.
Please check your trade history and confirm that ticket number 88298097 was a pending order.
Better still if you could attach an image of your trade history showing just the relevant trades.

I can only imagine that the problem has something to do with you setting the step at only 0.01 which is just 1 pip on AUDJPY. It may be that market was just far enough away to allow opening of the pending orders and that they were almost immediately triggered

Did you have a TP set in the original order when you entered the OpenTicket?

hey broīs!!! minute, have you got the Expert adviser enable?? you have the smile face on upscreen? you have paramether Live trading as I wrote on my thread!??

you must have open position, with TP inserted..

the step is decimal, for example on audusd, if you want a 100 pips gap, you must put step 0.01.
after that, you choose the step and also configurations as I posted in printscreen.

and even after the pending orders are inserted by EA, you can modifi LOT size and TP on all of them!!

REMEMBER you have to have your computer on with chart rolling, in order to EA work..

I have been using the "add pending and modify open trades" with great success! Amazing EA!
Initially I had the same problem of tp not in place but the problem was mine cause first you have to set the tp in the original trade and then enable the ea.
One thing Gumrai...the magic letters do not appear in the comment area when the trades are triggered....that is the way it suppose to be?

Maybe you meant to type "modify STOPLOSS size and TP on all of them".
Unfortunately, for some reason, MT4 does not allow you to modify Lot size on pending orders. If you want to change the Lot size, you have to delete the PO and set a new one.

I'm currently working on an updated version and will look to include this.

sorry gumrai, I was think about that..I mistaken while wrtiting..I mean you can Modify Price Entry and TP...not Lot size obvious..

I don't actually use it in my trading. Mind you I don't seem to be trading so much at the moment as I've been trying to improve on my coding.

What I really need is an EA to do my trading for me while I concentrate on coding EAs

ups..I tried to put the ticket of the pending order that I wish if activated to trigger the EA, and immediattly it open all positions of the EA!! hehehheeheh, was on demo!!
ok, with this itīs not possible...bro, for me, itīs not so important, it has I would say 10% importance on the strategye, since it will be more automatic...

The other thing is regarding take profit...I was looking to add also this:

If TP is hit, delete all pending (already do that), and insert 1 pending buy order, letīs say, 50 pips below the TP hit(if we are longing, and the opposite if we are shorting)...

once again, many thanks for everything bro, when you have all this, you only will have to click "play" and cash in.

Hi bro! Really useful! I had started trading a system that uses the cloud about a month ago(with renko bars) and it fit like a glove.
When all work is done if Gumrai likes I will show him the system in case he wants to automate it.....
Now the system still needs work but once I show it to you you will see why it looks that it can go the long run.....
But for now still demo......

Oh yeah....and there is pyramiding in it too, but I never to date passed the second or third level(limit order).....but like I said it is still fresh....
