Need help on DDE

Hi everyone! Here is rookie question you might have heard before. How can I use DDE?

I am using the InterbankFx trader (both versions 3 and 4) software. And for the life of me I can't find documentation of that software regarding DDE. Ultimately, I would like to use programming logic in Excel to determine the occurence of certain events. Thanks in advance.

In order to turn on DDE you'll need to go to: Tools, Options, Server and check box "Enable DDE Server."
Live data will then be exported but unfortunatelly not history.
Use Metatrader help menu for additional information.
