Recently my metatrader stated putting duplicate bars on the weekly. I deleted the old data and had it download the new data from the server but it ended up putting duplicate bars for all history. Is it metatraders problem or the data feeds problem?http://www.engr.ucr.edu/~revans/untitled.jpg

check out USD/CAD. Talk about your bad data. The long red line is a tail from a single candle. It happened at 7am on 13 Jan and as you can see all my indicators a screwed up.

You can also hit F2 which will take you to history center where you can edit bars if needed.

What's up with the data? Can Metatrader correct this? If not, we surely shouldn't expect this to continue each week...I've got enough to do besides going in to erase bad data bars each week...hopefully someone can follow up with Metatrader and get this bad data deal figured out...please....anyone

I have a spike on the Swissie that goes down to 0.96 ish. When I tried to manually correct it I ended up with double bars on the weekly charts somehow. Closing and opening charts or refreshing did not help.

I uninstalled MT4, created a new demo and still the huge spike down on the Swissie but my weekly double bars are gone.
Still haven't found what I'm looking for...
