Guys as i see we almost cut off the 50 at RSI to the bullish side at the 1H,but it went down already.M'i right?Aussie what is your opinion for these situation can we see some lows in a few hours???

Asulanco said the he has the indicators from http://www.tradecurrency.ca/, so I looked there and they say that TF it's something similar to PAR SAR so from there the idea to use that, and Asulanco confirmed, from what I know PAR is trigered buy the lows or highs of the price and it's a very good trend indicator cause it stays above the price in a bearish market,and vice-versa for a bull market and in a ranging market it oscilates dotting the chart up or down.
I feel we are not far from geting his setup on our MT

sure.. I tried 3 different stochasticRSI indicators... but none of them produced the same line as auslanco's charts... but I haven't heard auslanco yet to mention about stochasticRSI.. so I think is not an important indicator in his list of indicators.

about the momentum values.. I think they are not as important as the slope ... just see the slope of the line.. and if there are sharp peaks.. (retracements)
I have a guess that will find the stochastic RSI sooner or later, the one that he uses on the VT, like he says we need to have pacience.
Regarding the momentum I remeber that he finds some importance in the zero line also, if it's aboce it and slopes up it's a better sign than below and still up, it's only logical that is a stronger momentum and beeing from MACD category I think that if the slopeing crosses the zero line it's even a more powerfull, that's why I'll use it like I sugested, and will keep up to date if my guess was right.

Hey Teekee,

H1 and H4 are somewhat Bearish, but notice MACD 1Hr is Bullish and 4HR is somewhat flat.

NOt getting strong enough indication of either direction now.

it's easy also to do a setup for oanda users:
but oanda doesn't have 4H timeframe.. only 3H. anyone knows why ?

I just noticed on my daily that the macd histogram flipped negative.
I don't know what time this happened.

My momentum indicator is pointing down on the daily, 4hr, 1hr, and 15m.

I thought momentum indicator isnt use so much for the direction of a trend but the mainly momentum of that trend in regardless which we way the momentum is facing! sharp turn is a indication of momentum pick up!!!

am i right or am i wrong?

I use the indicator (momentum) for confirmation and timing, I don't want to go short at the beginning of a retrace. I think the macd flip is more significant,

Hi guys... Typical ranging... 4 hour strength Bull, 1hr Strength bull... Pair is still very much ranging... stay away from the market as the volume is very low... I dont take any short positions... untill the price hits 242.50-244 .. so I'm looking for a Long position to enter... when my 1hr Strength Indicator crosses 50 ,may be in mid asian or earley london.... price may range untill then... good time to catch up with that much needed sleep...
