After the social formalities of a first meeting, all we did was talk about trading. He emphasized to my wife the importance of her support and then admonished me for not having a written trading plan. It was a pleasant encounter.

I do remember Damien talking about his "Your Trading Pilot", I guess that would be enough. Also, Bogdanlinee (spelling?) pointed out a discrepancy in a large order on his longer term trading.

Who knows?!

As far as a trading plan.. I have seen a few traders say to write it out. I haven't written mine out. Why? Because I practice my rules until they are engraved in my brain.. as they should be. If I have to keep looking at some plan, then my logic tells me that I haven't practiced enough. Furthermore, I have no bias in the market, so I don't want to be a one trick pony. My logic tells me that I should no different speculative scenarios to reduce my losses or make gains. I do agree with Damian that a supportive wife is important. Anyways.. Lawman.. if you want to chat about trades, you now know were to find me. Have a great weekend.

Whats up PMU . Cool to see some OG's still on the thread. I actually talked with Damian a few months ago. We traded the morning session together. I didn't follow his trades obviously, but we shared screens and talked about what we were looking at. Are you still trading the YM?

That is cool. I stopped trading the YM in December of last year and went to the NQ. I have made a lot more gains on it, than I have ever made on the YM. But I do still have my YM and now ES screens for some correlation. I noticed that if the YM or ES move up or down. Then the NQ will do the same move nearly 4 fold. So, I can trade really small for good money management and make good points. If I am wrong, it won't break the bank.

I am old.. but I was never a coward running in a pack. A.K.A. ganster. ha ha ha I did have gangster friends in my youth. They would sometimes call me for help if they were in trouble. See.. cowards in packs. lol Anyways... I hope that you are doing awesome on your trades. In honesty, I did start to fade away from this thread before Damian quit. I started going to discord, where the messages are instantaneous. Anyways... I am short the market.. So, time will tell if I get points or not. The opening today was very strong.

I have been working on another personal price action theory for the larger time frames. Just building on what I discovered a couple of years ago and fine tuning it. The blue lines are my areas of interest for buys and sells.

Why was this trade taken? Why did I target that area for my limit order?

The charts have a lot to say and they speak very clearly. It is the responsibility of the market technician to be observant and identify these clues to not only time the entry but also make kick ass decisions.
