I just got back from the movies with my awesome wife. We just saw that movie Venom. Now... time to trade. I took this trade just before we stepped out the door. So far it has reached my first expectation

Ha ha ha.... your not joking. We have seen 3 in just over 2 weeks. Most of the time we can go several months without seeing any ones we like.

Hi 6288monkey, There is confluence with 127% and 161% fib too (if it helps)

the way you draw Fib extension was not the way Mr.Pip draw

and 1 of the point are not at exact swing low.

Price came down to my area of interest and I added 2 more contracts. It is almost 12 am So will determine if I want to hold it for a swing trade or just take what I have. In my view the bulls have been strong the last couple of days.

Hello, I have a question. I would like to know how you would have handled this type of candle in the yellow circle. The market has reached my goal with a long bear candle. so I put my stop lost over, where is the red line. The market was corrected and I was released with a lot of profit loss. What would you have done in my place? thanks for your help.

Sorry to ask, but I do not understand 100%. If I get you right, you wanted to go long after the 1:1? I do not like to see acceleration in my AOI area.

Is there any other reason to go long?

Ouchhh, you are right.

Red, yellow and green swings are valid (green swing PB has not touch the 38% but is near to it).
You can draw the fibs for yellow and green swings and found a zone of confluence in concordance with MrPip 1:1

A few trades today.
Overall followed my rules so I'm happy. (except first trade where I entered but felt bad about it and exited)
The first few trades were on smaller timeframe.
BE, -18 (half position), -33, +36, +63

Fib indications on chart are the ones used for last trade (for determining where to start trailing)

I think the answer to this question is: what do your rules say?
If your rules say to always trail behind decision candles, then that's what you have to do, and you made no mistake here.
In this case it didn't work out, but in other cases maybe you are giving enough room for a deeper push and you have larger profit.

If you don't like to give that much back, you could make it a rule to trail very large candles behind 50% of the candle for example.
The point is to follow the rule that you wrote down.

Last 2 trades of the day
In both I protected too early.
First one (entry on golden zone of larger swing and 38.2% of even larger swing + structure to the left) I felt insecure.
Second one I felt pressure of the market about to close.
Better stop now, starting to lose discipline.

BE and +20
