before 1400 need to break 1525 big support there..

this is really weird. at one time, reuters are saying cyprus are planning to sell their gold, and a spokesperson from the bank are saying, nope, there has not been even any discussion, nor argument about selling gold, and then reuters came back saying that they will, and cnbc say they wont sell.

can somebody perhaps enlighten me on this. is there something that i am missing about this cyprus gold selling this?
Calm down guys )) remember the old saying buy low sell high .... whenever there is a move everyone (and i dont exclude myself) start predicting ever lower or ever higher prices depending on the move.... im not saying that it will not go down lower from here but lets us all relax take a deep breath and evaluate support resistance levels and potential plays from here.... LETS NOT BE THE HERD
I really donīt know, why are many of you sending gold to 1300-1400. Gold is safe haven, a store of value. Also I see support at around 1520 (it is historically strong). At 1300-1400, there is no bigger support. 161.8 FIBO of historical high 1920 USD/oz. and that strong support at 1520 is at 1274, but still donīt believe it can go there. Maybe based on Elliott wave and overvalue of gold because of strong growth in past 11 years, correction is there. But if correction didnīt break that support, it begin to grow further. If it will break support, I start to believe you. :-)

Yes, if we do hit 1523/24/25, I will be looking for a bounce back up to the 1539/55 area short term.

After that, I can see 1511/12, if that breaks my calculations indicate a drop to 1477 and possibly 1406. We'll see.

u me and everybody will always miss somethings thats why someone said its funny-mentals (fundamentals)..cyprus requires 23billion germany giving only 10billion..where rest of the money will come from .. GOLD ???

i think 1545 will hold....and 1572 will be touched very soon...shiny metals have great socio-economic values in a country like INDIA...if its rates are reduce we will definitely buy..and by we i mean population of 1 billion people

their gold is only worth 400m compare that to 6bn extra that they require it's really small...Also I think in the coming month they will come to ask for more as people withdraw what hasnt been confiscated.. Personally I think they would have to sell their gold (unless there will be some kind of revolt) as their options to raise money internally are very very limited

Balance is good as you highlight, so if I was to give a contrarian viewpoint to my bearish stance, it would be that from here (c.1545) there is a chance of a rally to the 1569 area short term, as a calculated estimation. I guess we'll have to see how it plays out.

yup..next options IMF and BOE that's all i can say my little FA knowledge ends there ..sticking to candlesticks
