This week, after a long gap, I tried my trading system on basket. It worked perfectly on basket. Last two trades were profitable. The present buy trade is still running. Waiting for sell signal to close the buy and enter sell.

I was verymuch impressed with the basket and kos system. To trade the basket one require the basic trading skills. Else it is disaster as we are trading 14 pairs together. Don't trade my signals. I or my trading system could be wrong.

Thanks to Kos for this one and only unique Basket trading method.

the only difference is that am transiting from M15, H1, H4 to the king of the timeframes, the D1

Thanks kos. I kept peeping into basketing now and then for the developments. As I said long ago JPY is the strong influencing factor of the basket. When I started in 2013 JPY was swinging. By the time I started my real account the JPY started going sideways. It was extremely difficult to trade the basket and had bad experience as I was not knowing how to trade then. Now the JPY is swinging again due to their -ve interest rate and China slow down. It is good time now to trade the basket.

Quick question for you Kos,

On the core-5 basket, why do you choose to not include the EUR/USD when you already have the GBP/USD? For the most part they are so highly correlated, I don't see why it shouldn't be in there.

why not you can include EU if you like, it them becomes core-6, many ways to kill the chicken.

that shows you were not there ab initio and you are not trading basket.

Hello friends! Its another end of the week, a 'pipful' week.

the daily is going to the line as I drew the line last weekend, +1000 pips in the green
H4 gave a false early signal that failed but 'he' too is running back to the trend line now +1000 pips in the green

what a great and peaceful way to make money?

one trade signal for the week and thousands of pips in the bank. No too much analysis, no long thing just buy and sell.

even fundamental news just help the sail most of the time.

im making a return to basket trading ive managed to get the baskets created using the basketv8 new format indi. Works perfectly. Ive also tried bts-core5 buy and CORE 5 Buy scripts to open orders both of which dont seem to be working. Im with ICmarkets and doesnt have any weird suffix to the pairs can anyone help with this. I also tried the EA recently posted by KOS that also doesnt open orders.

Closed sell at -200 pips. Entered buy on buy signal. Hope the buy trend continues tomorrow.

Buy orders hit stop Loss level. Present sell entry made immediately on sell signal yesterday. Appears the system works so far so good. 5 winners two losers.

As I said before, JPY pairs are the influencing factor of the basket.

Fx-optimus, there is a black, thin MA on your chart...You can use it as a filter..sell below and buy above...also watch how the market reacts to the MA...I know you are anxious to test out the system....For me, I use the 200EMA, and currently trading the bounce
