i upgraded one of my platforms to v600

i still have offline charts and all my indi's works fine, just a few warnings and no errors - SO FAR anyway

Weldone MPP! Please keep us posted.

In fact IF you will be kind enough to go through the trouble of outlining the STEPS on how to upgrade to the new mt4 platform (build 600) it MAY help many of our newer members here (who may be too terrified of the gurus to ask!).

C14 Level205 & C5 Level140 couldn't be broken. ALL trades closed for now.

the upgrade is automatic for most brokers, next time you close the platform and restart it, the platform will check for updates and install them without asking.

Don't understand what happen. My demo ALPARI UK platform doesn't read the indicators. Even the ones with .ex4, that I've read here it should work....

Those who have the new update running without problems, how do you do? I'm thinking maybe I put the archives in a wrong place. Don't know. Any help will be wellcome.

sorry i dont know about ubuntu with wine, I need something stronger, maybe some brandy!

copying .ex4 t the two folders has worked for me , but platform seems to be buggy, freezing etc.

if you are running live on new build 600 I will be weary, i am just testing on demo build 600

Could you please post all the indicators that shold work in the new updated platform? The two folder you are refering, I understand one is:

MQL4/indicators

and the other one???

Ok thank you. Now I got all the indis in both folders. OX works, scripts work, but the Basket v6 and Basket v8 don't work to create the offline chart. Which indicator do you use to make the offline chart? Can you share it?

sorry i havent tried the basket indicators yet,
although someone in a post above said that they seem to work i cant remember who
almost all indicators work in 600 and i didn't put anything in the data folders, although according to the experts tab when i start mt4 the data folder is in the install folder(?). i just put everything in their respective folders within the mq4l folder. this was a fresh install from pepperstone

the only problem so far is when the t101 tries to load any !tle, it goes into an endless loop of reloading it, rendering !tle unusable. even if a !tle is not specified and it doesn't go into the endless !tle loading loop, if market read is turned on the buy/sell buttons disappear. this is hopefully a small fix, as !tle and market read are very important(!)
