Disliked{quote} Are you new to coding? I'm busy with this and other life stuff at the moment so i can help you once I know more about exactly what you want! For me researching and learning both MQL4/5 or python is relatively the same, just depends on how crazy you want to get into it lol python definitely has more capabilities plus is becoming more popular these days. {quote} Yea the translating was not as simple as just throwing it into google translate LOL. I swapped from UTF-8 characters in the code → iso-8859-5 → Russian Cyrillic →...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Thing about that is if we start researching correlation ratio indicators/EAs in other languages then this thread will never end and nothing will get done lol so lets focus on what we have here, perfect it then start discussing implementing the logic over. Also Stanislav Korotky updated the Murad's Russian mt4 code into mt5 code here: https://www.mql5.com/en/code/27436. It has some fixes and bus as well apparently but ill take a look at it later.Ignored

DislikedYes i am fairly new to coding. I started learning python about 3 months ago, and i completed the basics of the syntax in the "python crash course" book, but i have no knowledge of C++, which i hear MQL is based on, so i guess that's why i might be having problems understanding it properly. Thanks.Ignored
DislikedHi SerbSerb thanks for the great stuff you are churning out here please i just want to know if this indicator can be married to the attached one so as to work together then i will be thrilled if you can input alert into your indicator such that when theres a buy move someone is alerted and is there a way an entry could be included?.The attached is an old one done by CJA but it has gone through some modification as well with ENTRY STOP AND TP OF 20PIPS but i will now want your indicator to supply the take Profit.I have attached 2 of the same indicator...Ignored
Dislikedyou in control here lol? just started coding 5 months ago? I tried to help(with excellent results) but this thread was hijacked--------good luck to allIgnored
Murad's code is nice but limited to the memory of its data types. The compiler can only reserve what happens to be no more than 512kb. This means i have to try a data type that dynamically grows and in MQL4 I think that seems to be done four ways: buffering arrays, static variables, Dynamic Arrays, or building a simple class object. Going static is obviously lazy and not efficient plus the memory is pre-allocated anyways and initialization is performed right after the program is loaded. I'll try the dynamic array then just building an object. Still learning about the buffers and its limitations however this post has been a huge help! https://www.forexfactory.com/thread/...-arrays-in-mql. MQL4 at least always passes arrays, structure type variables and class objects by reference into functions by default which is nice.
This is important because the settings say it takes in a time period of 365 days but technically in the code it originally had that space however Metatrader doesn't return an error or anything just a warning in the MetaEditor and for the user a blank screen. This gives the representation that its broken or buggy so my first post was reducing the working data set to only 35% of the original full 365 day dataset the user thinks the indicator is using. Using dynamic array with resizing or class object should break that stupid memory problem MQL has. I am still learning and hope to have a sweet update for everyone soon!
