Favorite indicators for exiting a trade?

Would FF members post their favorite indicator(s) for exiting a trade? I
like the 15M and 30M chart.

I think STOCHASTIC SLOW is a really good indicator for that.
Also paying attention to daily PIVOT POINTS is helpful.

If we are talking about trend following trades, then price exhaustion is the best exit signal...When in an uptrend, and according to your time frame, if the price fails to make new highs for a certain handsome amount of time, it's a good time to get out...When the price fails to break highs, it usually creates double or triple tops, they are both the same....

If we are talking about sideways trades, then resisitance and support levels are the key for exiting....

Mike ole' buddy, you just HAD to say it. "Exiting A Trade" should be an ebook by itself. The FEAR of thinking, "If I get out now, it'll shoot up 40 more pips and I'll miss out." The GREED of thinking, "Man, I'm 75 pips up! I'll wait to see if it goes 25 more!"

To answer your question, my favorite indicator is my brain. Trouble is, I don't control it. When I find out who does, I'll let you know.

I find indicators useless for entry, and even more so for exit.

Exit, in my opinion, should be exclusively dictated by price projections (such as fibonacci) and specially by significant support/resistance levels (trendlines, pivots, previous high/low, etc).

Do yourself a favor and ease down on the indicator dependance.
