FXOpen demo account vs live problem

I have a demo account and 2 live accounts (micro and standard) with FXOpen and I'm having a really difficult time understanding a missing data problem I have.

If I login to my demo I see missing bars on the H4 chart on EURUSD and USDJPY from 4pm, 14 Apr 2011 to 4pm, 18 Apr 2012, over a year of missing data!

Then if I login to either of my live accounts the chart updates and I have a complete chart without missing bars.

Is anyone else having this problem? Any solutions are welcome, I've tried contacting their support but no response so far.

I have no interest in using the history center, I simply want to understand why this issue is occurring. I'm guessing FXOpen have a bad demo server (I've tried changing to other servers with no change in the chart...)

Strange.....I had the same thing happen to me on the standard Demo but on my live standard account everything seemed fine. I didn't contact them, but am curious to their response regarding this.

I would contact them and of late "the demo was not the same as the live account" threads are cropping all over the net. I would call them up and record any instances of "issues" between the demo and the live acc..

I've never had a live account with them but I've always had bad data with the demo. I choose them because my broker is their white label. Anyway, in the end it got so bad a few weeks back that it was just to ridiculous that I moved

My bad! I meant an ECN not standard.
Anywho, I no longer use their demo accounts.

I have off quotes on FXOpen ECN demo just now. Do you believe it, it was the fricking demo I am talkin' here. This demo looks very real to me.

And I actually thinking to open a live account there.

I have heard some reports of some offquotes recently with all of their platforms, and shockingly the ECN one. Not sure if those claims are exaggerated, but there was one specific scenario where someone who got a bad feed quote had their profits removed. It turned out that the Liquidity Provider provided the bad feed to FxO. There was no loss to the trader, they just nulled the orders. But it does make you wonder how the orders got filled in the first place and not rejected when the orders were attempted.


who was the white label? What was so bad about it (the platform)? I may consider going live with FxO in about a month or so.

I have both live account and demo account with FXOpen.

1. Yes. bars are missingfor a certain period of time both in live ande demo.

2. Its chart can delay few minutes than other broker.

3. Their website is always slow to access.

I have never contact with them and withdraw any money from them since I am still a loser in forex market.
