Hantec Markets

Anyone trading live account with Hantec Markets? If so how's their execution when it comes to speed and fills? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, judging by the number of replies to this thread it doesn't seem to be to many people on FF trading with them...Though they are a preferred brøker now...

Ive been trading with them for a month now. In my opinion they are good. I have never gotten a requote with market orders and my limit orders are always bang on. Plus they are ecn stp which makes it all the more safer to trade. they say same day withdrawals as well but havent withdrew yet so dont how true that is.

What I liked was that when I was making my first deposit, they rejected it and wouldnt accept it. The reason being that I was using my debit card from a country different than the bank origin as I was away from the UK. They had to send in a request to their payment processing partner to allow this and i was able to do so a few days later. This gives me the impresison that they are well regulated.

Never any discrepancy in quotes as I use multiple brokers for charting so am always comparing (apart from the different spreads of course). Spread are mediocre, not low not high but that a price im willing to pay to get stp.

One issue i have had though. In some of the exotic currencies I have been seeing spikes and gaps in historical data. I cmplained about this once and was told i would be contacted. Wekk passed and nothing. I complained again and was told that I would be contacted the next day by the guy I spoke to previously. Another week has gone by and nothing.So there you go, theres always an issue. no broker is bang on!!

I've been trading with Hantec since their first month in business and have always received excellent & timely customer service.

Hantec is an STP broker and honors all trades at market execution. I have traded with various brokers over the past several years with numerous problems including re-quotes, dealing desks and even using multiple desks!

The principals have always been honorable in conducting business and Hantec is also regulated by the FSA. Logs can be provided for all trades and slippage is rarely an issue as they offer transparency in their trade execution.

I routinely deposit and withdraw funds and experience same day transfers from HSBC London to my institution with immediate credited to my brokerage account when sending funds.

Overall I am very pleased with Hantec and feel they stand out in the FX market as a broker.

Well I did use them when competing in the competition they had with Fxstreet. It was good at the time. Received an email from them recently about a $50 bonus account. After sending back and forth documents that they have requested through email and after a week and a half, as my photo of my license had sticky tape on it as it was broken in half, I did not pass their compliance checking. Unless you have 2 weeks to waste on opening an account, I believe you can use other brokers which will have an account opened for you within less then 2 days.

If you look at fxbook the spreads look not terrible. - but that is just to deceive.
You might go to chart properties and decide to check the box "show ask price" - complete waste of time.
If you place a buy order at market it will be placed well above whatever the fake "ask" line says on the chart.
Not only that - but if you place a sell order it will be well below where current price is!

eg, looking at the chat (or myfxbook), you might be fooled into thinking the spread is a very reasonable 4.8 pips on "exotic". But looking at the actual quote, you can see the buy is 10.5 pips above the fake "buy" line on the chart, and the sell is 10.5 pips below what the chart is telling you is the actual price!

In fact, the spread is more like 26 pips.
