Link OHLC data for 5 daily bars dynamically to Excel?

Is it possible to get OHLC data into specific cells for the previous 5 days?

so "day just finished" OHLC goes into one row of cells, "day just finished -1" goes into another row, etc?

So at the close of each day the data needs to shunt by one row... so it always has 5 days of data, in order.

I'm afraid my knowledge of dll is very limited!

AFAIK (only to be proven wrong!) it is not totally straightforward.
You can get live prices to XL easily with links but that would not give you the last days OHLC.

You would need to save the data to a file using MT4 and then open that file in XL. It would then be a case of using VBasic to put that data into cell locations that you specified.

Not too difficult, would just take a little time.

Have you tried MT4's DDE feature?
