MY TRADING :

Hello, I'm going to post all my trades here. My trading method is very flexible, I trade price action and basic S/R with one oscillator for confirmation (RSI, MACD, whatever). I'm what you call a discretionary trader. My trading is mostly technical but I'm still reading / watching the news and trading accordingly. I mostly use 10-25 pips stops and 15-60+ for take profit.

I see some people asked to explain how I trade... The thing is... my "method" is not something you can code with an EA. As I said, my method is very flexible, and I really trade basic S/R level, you know when support get broken it becomes resistance and vice versa.

I mostly use horizontal lines, I watch for PPZ (aka james16), put my line on the chart, wait for the break, buy/sell the retest, really 101 stuff, but it works. Just you should know, I enter trade when I say "I buy/sell X at XXXX", sometimes I post chart with interesting levels. And the most powerful tool I use, my little experience, and that is very difficult to teach. If I want nice risk/reward ratio I'll watch D1/H4 first, put my lines on the chart, wait for a break, buy/sell the retest. As you know no setup is exactly similar. Look, on EUR/AUD just around 1.3000 (psychological level, round number whatever you want), it looks good for a sell, maybe a little bit above 1.3 (but with bigger stop than 25 pips).

I mostly use pending orders, if I'm not very confident about a level (actually I'm always confident about the level, the hard work is knowing if the level will hold or not) I'll wait for PA like, engulfing, pinbars etc.

One more thing, indicators... are just here for, I don't know, they are pretty but quite useless. Do you think some other guy at Goldman Sachs has the same Donchian channel settings as you ? the same Bollinger Bands setups ? same MA, EMA, triple EMA whatever, the same RSI ? Heiken ashi (it doesn't even show real price LOL wierd candlesticks nothing more) ? Of course not.

What about a candlesticks chart ? ok you got it

Someone told me, trade what you see.

Hope it will be useful.

A little bit about me : I'm 21, I live in Switzerland and I love trading, I like intellectual challenges and I think trading successfully is one of the most difficult. Trading is not exciting anymore, it's just... I don't know, I still have this little thing when I enter a trade, but it's definitely not the same "thing" as before (which was almost a heart attack, kidding, but you know what I mean). I didn't went to college, I learned everything I know by reading all forexfactory and others forums (I almost know everyone, but nobody knows me because I usually don't post anything) and by watching at my charts for hours and hours every day.

This is what I've done until now :

1) USD CHF : made 100+ pips (but I only took a few)
2) GPB USD : made 46 pips (but I only took a few)
3) EUR JPY : made 49 pips (but I only took a few)
4) AUD USD : I cancelled my order... made 100+ pips
5) GPB JPY : made 45 pips (only took a few)
6) EUR JPY : made 150+ pips(only took a few)
7) NZD USD : I cancelled my order like a dumbass made 23 pips (from the top to the bottom of the range, perfect)
8) AUD USD : made 20 pips (I took some profit and price came back to BE)
9) GOLD : made... almost 200 pips (only took a few) THAT SPIKE !
10) USD JPY : made 50 pips (only took a few) look at that spike LOL

(all trade where called before they happened of course)

Potential : 783 pips (that's why I really need to work on exits...)

a) USD/CAD : loser
b) EUR/USD : loser
c) GPB/USD : loser (hit my stop and turned 60 pips...)

I like potatoes :

I'll tell you, there are not many people here that have the balls to post trade before they happen (and for those who do, /clap), there are so many scams on forexfactory, what a shame. At least it entertains me a few hours, oh no wait, 30 sec max. Post before the trade happens ! if you lose, just... whatever ? it's ok. But don't poster after, it's like... ok I think you got it.

I'll start a signal service someday, but it's free now. Will do if 20 people or more are interested (send a private message if interested)

PS: I know my english sucks, but who cares? you? REALLY ? ok
PSS : someone asked me to post more charts like I did when I began, I will.

So for now, 4 trades all winners and almost to the pip, I'm lucky today.

1) USD CHF : made 100+ pips (but I only took a few)
2) GPB USD : made 46 pips (but I only took a few)
3) EUR JPY : made 49 pips (but I only took a few)
4) AUD USD : I cancelled my order... made 100+ pips

Most important here is that I call trades BEFORE they happen if you know what I mean... saying you should have done that and that etc after the fact is so useless. I'm just trying to save you some time...

So I still have :

Sell on GOLD
Sell on EUR GPB
Sell on USD CAD
Buy on GPB JPY

and an interesting level on EUR USD 1.3032 and an other one at 1.3284

Could have made 300 pips on those trades (overall), risking each time 15-20 pips. I really need to work on my exits.
