I got a question. Hugh, you use a stoch of 8,3,3 and luckystar use 14,3,5 . Any real difference? Why do each of you prefer his stoch? Thanks!

Good trading today.

I've just entered gbpusd long, the 4 hour looks right now. Usdchf is looking nice too but I can only take one and gbpusd looks smoother.

Cadjpy is looking ok still and gold and eurnzd have put in quite a bit of sideways but still running.

I got my setting from a commercial system I saw and just got used to using it. I don't think it makes too much difference as long as you always use the same setting.

Hi everyone...been busy over the extended weekend here, but am back on board for the week.

Heres another potential set up on the U/J 4H chart. Im going to take a short position, demo of course, I welcome all comments as it helps everyone learn, esp me...LOL

Looks ok to me, usdxxx looking bearish and xxxusd bullish so why wouldn't it work out?

Closed cadjpy -17.5 pips, it's going nowhere and I'm less convinced it will work out now.

thanks malouin...

why im using 14,3,5.... i want to have longer look back period n longer moving average for smoothing... this will produce less sensintive oscillator n that why im using H2 Heiken ashi chart instead of H4 chart...

i have look it in my chart... like hugh said, it should work... if you see daily cs chart... pin bar already have.. trend is down both daily n H4 chart... it should tank down...
but... it reverse...
just wondering... did you familiar with this pair?
or there is news related to jpy today...

Hi Mr. L,

Thanks for the comments...
On my feed on the Daily CS the Pin Bar has formed, but I went short without prices passing thru the low.
Also, as I look left, its bouncing off recent support, and Stochs/CCI have crossed up...I just think in hindsight, this was a challenging trade to go short on..

Morning all, I'm up at 4am my time for work and there's loads going on in the thread!

Shame about the usdjpy, I never have much luck with jpy pairs. I suppose the 4 hour trend is not so strong but it did look like a winner.

Great trade on audusd.

My gbpusd is just going sideways for now -10 but I'll give it a while longer as it looks like it could be about to turn up on the hourly.

Eurnzd +74 and gold +108.

I'll check back in later for my next 4 hour candle close.

Pulled right back now, hopefully there will be another push down today to get them both well away from the entry point but they could just as easily stop out. We'll see. Gbpusd still not performing but I'll keep it going.

Actually just closed gbpusd -20 pips. 4 hour candle about to close red and sensless to hold it any longer.

buy stop at 1.5842... (stoch cross at above.. not strong signal... but if break this... it break yesterday high...)

Any comment are welcome...
