Hello.

I found these on the internet somewhere. I think most are from the Yahoo metatrader's group. I have a vps and will be testing many of these systematically and posting my results.

Once I have determined which ones myself and my colleagues will test, I will post that so that other members can test other ones. Hopefully at some point we can get most tested and have a very nicely previewed set of ea's. Many may be a bit dated, but hopefully at least a few are still profitable.

I wasn't able to open the archive file, and it seems rather unrealistic that 1300 ea's occupy 22kb of space.

Oh only if you think 99.9% percent accuracy is good. Here, check the thread out for yourself

you doing a backtest first (functional test) and do you know how to code in mql?

or are you just running all these EA's live and hope they work?

Well first of all I posted the file for the benefit of the community first and foremost.

Secondly for your information, I do understand some about MQL, but don't claim to be a guru. Once I get to testing these (right now backtesting others) yes I will do some backtests, but backtesting is not always accurate therefore I would rather forward trade for several months and not rely on historical playback and data quality problems.

Is that alright with you big bossman?

its just that some ea's require custom indi's and without a simple peak into the code, or a backtest, you'd be wasting your time.

right.. well if needed you can find most of these on google by searching for the ea name and find someone thats posted it. most seem to use the basic metatader indis. i may concatenate all of the mql files and grep it for icustom but it should be very few....booyah! my years as a sql developer makes me think that way.

I expect that this is some other EA that the coder has named "Amazing" (a somewhat predictable sales pitch, yes?). Merlin's is a tongue-in-cheek hoax that can't be coded, as the strategy uses today's highs/lows that can't possibly yet be known.
